Base Management sit within the Customer Growth team. We are the heartbeat of Sky, responsible for the commercial health (acquisition and retention) of our TV, Broadband and Mobile subscription customer business. We work really closely with a number of teams across the business pulling together plans that benefit our customers across their lifecycle. As a result, this role will allow you to rapidly build an internal network across Sky. What You'll Do

  • Recommend the most effective commercial strategies to improve customer growth - engaging effectively with our Customer Experience, Trading and Data Science teams to design innovative commercial initiatives
  • Produce insightful analyses and recommendations for cohorts & trends requiring commercial focus - to reduce churn/cost, increase revenue and/or drive product downgrades
  • Own the commercial strategy for selected Voice & Digital estates
  • Collaborate with our Trading, Performance, Customer Service, Data, and Finance teams to maintain performance momentum and deliver our quarterly and yearly commercial targets
  • Adopt a 'test & learn' approach that launches iterative initiatives at scale and in a way that works for our Technical, Commercial and Trading teams
  • Drive initiatives that directly impact the products that our customers are on, with the aim of optimising the value our customers are getting from their Sky package. This would involve engaging with Commercial Product teams to align on approach and keeping partners advised at key achievements

What you'll bring:

  • You'll be a strategic thinker - able to take complex ideas and simplify them into a plan that is forward looking and puts the customer first.
  • You'll be brilliant at translating customer insight into strong commercial strategies that drive momentum and strong business performance.
  • You'll be very commercially aware and numerate, able to size commercial opportunities and influence your network to keep us focused on what's important.
  • You'll have strong analytical skills and be confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - producing packs and business cases that cut through complexity and lead straight to a decision.
  • You'll be a strong communicator, confident at presenting your recommendations across the organisation and able to bring stakeholders on a journey.
  • Ideally, you'll have previous experience with commercial/strategy roles, base management or customer retention programmes.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There's also plenty of bike shelters and showers
