Last week, our Work.Life Manchester team and members spent the day at Bounceback Cookery Kitchen, rolling up their sleeves to help tackle food poverty. Bounceback does incredible work providing catering, cooking classes, and community support across the UK, and we were lucky enough to visit their brand-new city centre kitchen, hosted at All Together Otherwise. From prepping and packing four delicious dishes to sharing a well-earned team lunch in the sunshine, it was a day full of good food and even better company. Most importantly, 100 meals were made for those in need across the city. A huge thank you to Bounceback for having us - we’re already looking forward to the next one! 🍽️✨

Meet some of the Work.Life dogs 🐶 (yes, we’re shamelessly playing the LinkedIn algorithm here) Apparently, 63% of Brits believe bringing their dog to work has helped them land a promotion - so if you needed an excuse to show off your office pup, this is it. Drop a pic in the comments and consider it evidence for your next performance review 🐾📈

🚨 Thinking about moving offices? This is your sign. 🚨 We help businesses find their perfect workspace every day, but when it came to our own team, we had to take our own advice. After a brilliant year at Work.Life Soho, our support team packed up and made the move to our biggest space yet: St Cross Street. Why? Because where you work shapes how you work. And for us, that meant a space that fuels creativity, collaboration, and everything we’re building next—like our new events product, a fully kitted-out podcast room, and a buzzing community that keeps us inspired. So, if you're wondering whether it’s time for a change, ask yourself: does your office still fit the way your team works? If not, maybe it’s time to make a move. AI is changing the workplace faster than ever, streamlining processes, boosting efficiency, and even making meetings more bearable (thanks, automated note-takers!). There's so much to be gained by embracing and engaging with AI and clearly we've only just begun. But there’s one thing AI can’t replace: the connections, culture, and unexpected moments that make work truly fulfilling, and not just more optimised. We've had a taste of this across recent events at our Phoenix event space in Farringdon. We’ve seen first-hand how real interactions create energy in a space. From members bouncing ideas off each other over a breakfast workshop, to spontaneous collaborations sparked over coffee in between seminars, to after-event socials that have blossomed into genuine friendships: these are the moments you can’t replicate with an algorithm. And it’s not just the big moments that matter; it’s the small things too. A warm welcome from our Membership Team when you walk through the door, the thoughtful check-in when you’ve had a tough day, the simple act of being seen and supported in a space that feels like home. At Work.Life, we embrace the future of work, but we also know that people, not just productivity, should be at its heart. AI can help us work smarter, but it’s the human connections that make work happy. What’s one work interaction you’ve had recently that AI could never replace?

This week was Neurodiversity Celebration Week. With 15-20% of the global population being neurodivergent, it’s time for businesses to go beyond awareness and take real action. Creating truly inclusive workplaces isn’t just about office design - it’s about fostering a culture where everyone feels supported, empowered, and able to thrive. At Work.Life, we’re committed to making work work for everyone - from designing flexible, sensory-friendly spaces to building a culture of belonging for our neurodivergent employees and members.
