About us
WHA is the voice of the water dispenser and hydration industry. As the leading association for the water dispenser and hydration industry, it is the single reference point for those who require and supply hydration solutions. WHA provides information, training, guidance, and regulations that are implemented, audited, and enforced, ensuring quality and sustainability of our members' services to their customers. The WHA promotes innovation in recognition of the Industry’s environmental responsibilities and compliance with the UK and European legislation, giving our Members a distinct point of difference in the hydration marketplace. The WHA has close and ongoing relationships with key national and local government departments and agencies, including the FSA, DEFRA, the Environment Agency, Trading Standards and Environmental Health Departments. At a European level, the WHA is a Member of the Watercoolers Europe (WE). The WHA takes a key executive role in the activities of WE, which represents the interests of several hundred companies in the water dispenser industry throughout Western and Eastern Europe in relation to EU directives and regulations. Our Mission To ensure the attainment of the highest standards of quality, safety, hygiene and ethical conduct in the water dispenser industry through unimpeachable products and services supplied by Members to their customers, in full recognition of the Industry’s environmental responsibilities, whilst promoting hydration benefits. The WHA Conference and Trade Show is happening at The Nottingham Belfry, and we have an action-packed morning ahead—covering everything from AI to Wellbeing, all leading up to an inspiring keynote from Roger Black, who will share the invaluable lessons he's learned from his incredible career in athletics and beyond. We kick off at 9:15 AM with a warm welcome from our Deputy Chair, Matt Stimpson, followed by an industry update from Akos Petri of Zenith Global. Next, we focus on something that matters to us all—Wellbeing. Ben and Carin will share insights on how we can enhance our own wellbeing and support those around us. Our very own Phillipa Clow will then take the stage to recount her eye-opening trip to Zambia, where she witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of industry contributions. Then, whether you embrace AI or fear it, Alastair Banks of Optix Solutions will guide us through how artificial intelligence can be a game-changer for businesses. And finally, to conclude our morning session, the legendary Roger Black will take us on an inspiring journey filled with motivation and valuable lessons. All this before 12:15 PM!
