Our report 'Easier to save' is published today. It brings together all the results of the opt-out payroll saving research trials in Nest Insight’s workplace emergency saving research programme. So, what did we find out? 1. An opt out approach to payroll saving dramatically boosts participation, supporting many more workers to save persistently. 2. People actively use their payroll savings accounts. 3. Opt-out payroll saving helps reach the people who most need support to get started with saving. 4. Short term savings are supportive of retirement savings.
