Today's the day! ⛰🍻 This week, we roll our Hilltop Lager out into our Vocation & Co bars, our webshop and a bar near you! A big thank you to the team at Turner Duckworth and Utopia Tableware Ltd for their help in getting this beer into the world!

Yesterday, we spent the day together as an entire business at our fantastic bar in Halifax to celebrate our successes throughout 2024 and to look forward to 2025. We heard from our leadership team all about future plans, were treated to a cheese and beer pairing session, and enjoyed a celebration over some great beer and delicious pizza into the night! A massive thanks to everyone in the company who helped organise the event as well as the Halifax team for hosting 🍻

Last Thursday we proudly presented our beers alongside Hallgarten & Novum Wines at Norman’s Restaurant, Kirkburton for a 6 course tasting menu from Head Chef, Will Webster 👨🍳 The event was called Grape vs Grain, and pitched one of our bold beers against one of Hallgarten & Novum’s beautiful wines to see which paired best with each course! The idea was to gauge reactions and declare a winner, but after delicious food and incredible tastes all round, we declared that we were all winners that evening!

We’re excited to introduce Hilltop Lager, now available in Tesco stores nationwide 🍻   Crafted for those who seek authenticity in their beer, Hilltop Lager is perfect for today’s quality-conscious drinkers, whilst also paying homage to the brewery’s humble beginnings, high upon a hill, 1,000 feet above sea level in Hebden Bridge.   This crisp and refreshing 4.3% ABV lager offers the ultimate thirst-quenching reward, combining flavour and substance with easy-drinking approachability.    We’re thrilled to see this hitting the shelves and to bring consumers another bold and beautiful beer from Vocation Brewery.

One of our first trade customers, the Victorian Craft Beer Cafe in Halifax, celebrate their 10th Birthday this month, and we leapt at the opportunity to help them create a special brew to celebrate! A deep, malty base blends effortlessly with bold  aromas of freshly baked bread and flavours of rich toffee and a hint of hedgerow berries. A luscious  full-bodied mouthfeel balanced by a subtle bitterness and earthy floral notes from the classic British hops of  East Kent Holdings & Fuggles. Available at the Vic now alongside a very special, exclusive barrel aged cask release, as well as all Vocation & Co venues and a bar near you!

It’s not always #grimupnorth - despite the grey and rainy day we’ve had up in Leeds! Two weeks ago it was blue skies and sunshine as we went to visit the amazing team at Vocation Brewery. We’ve been honoured to work with them for over half a decade, assisting their every day operations with automation integrations, expansions, process upgrades, including CIP and yeast farm. But there’s no better sight than the 29 external fermentation vessels gleaming in the sun as you drive over the hills. We created bespoke 100HL DPV’s, each with a flowplate and pipework fabricated at our facility to minimise installation time.
