🐾 Happy National Pet Day! 🐾   At Pets at Home, every day is National Pet Day! But today especially, we're celebrating the unconditional love that our furry, feathered, and scaly friends bring into our lives.    Colleagues from all parts of our business have shared some snaps and we thought we'd bring a bit of joy to LinkedIn too.   From playful pups to curious cats, and everything in between, have a little 'paws' and enjoy our pets at home! (see what we did there...)    We'd love to see pet photos in the comments and hear how everyone is celebrating! 📷 #PetsatHome

  • 🎉 Exciting New Beginnings at Mapperley Vets for Pets! 🎉   We are thrilled to announce that Kerry Gillham-Hunt, former Head Nurse and Practice Manager, has proudly stepped into her new role as Practice Owner at Mapperley Vets for Pets.   Kerry's journey from Veterinary Nurse to Practice Owner is a testament to her dedication and passion for veterinary care. After nine years of commitment to the practice, she takes the reins from Liz Stockham, the previous Practice Owner and current Veterinary Surgeon, who graciously handed over the leadership after an impressive 17 years.   Kerry expressed her gratitude and vision for the future: “I want Mapperley to continue doing and being what it is, a productive practice, and I want to do it justice for Liz, the team, and the community.”   Congratulations to Kerry on this exciting new beginning!   If you're considering practice ownership and would like to find out more, visit our website https://lnkd.in/eBF3gPHJ where you can arrange to speak with one of our experienced Partnerships team.

Huge congratulations to Vet Nurse Steven Batty, who has just signed on the dotted line as the new Practice Owner at Bolton Central Vets for Pets.   Having already worked within multiple Vets for Pets practices, including Bury, Accrington, and Bolton Central, he had the opportunity to learn the inner workings of a vet practice, gaining valuable experience in various aspects of practice management, and recently decided that becoming a practice owner was the natural progression.   Steven said: “I believe more vet nurses should consider becoming practice owners as it offers career progression and the opportunity to make a greater impact on animal care. The partnerships team provided great support throughout my journey from practice colleague to practice ownership.”   Wishing him all the best as he kick starts his practice ownership journey!   If you're considering practice ownership and would like to find out more, you can contact our Partnerships Recruitment Manager, Sian Noon, or drop us a line at Partnership@vets4pets.com.
