🚨 Reminder for UK PRA-Authorised Firms   A key consultation paper is open that could impact PRA-authorised UK banks, building societies, and PRA-designated UK investment firms subject to margin requirements under UK EMIR.   Key proposals include: ✅ Indefinite exemption for single-stock equity options & index options from UK bilateral margining requirements. ✅ Removal of IM exchange obligation on legacy contracts if a firm later falls below in-scope thresholds. ✅ Alignment with other jurisdictions on margin threshold assessments for cross-border transactions.   🗓 Consultation closes: Friday, 27 June 2025   If you have questions about how this may impact your firm or need guidance on responding, reach out to Philip Forkan or a Tonic expert!
