We founded Invisible Collection with art collectors in mind. The designs we champion hold the value, investment potential, and aesthetic appeal of art objects, worthy of standing alongside blue-chip artworks. This century has brought some of design’s undisputed masterworks into public focus. Think of a Royère Polar Bear sofa sold at auction for over $2 million, or Chareau’s Nun floor lamp, snatched for $2.1 million. Those stellar prices weren’t driven by rarity alone; they reflected a deeper understanding among collectors of the cultural and historical significance, as well as the undeniable beauty of these pieces. As we begin celebrating 100 years of Arts Décoratifs, the applied arts that made it possible for Royère, Chareau, and others to give form to their visions, we carry forward their legacy. A hundred years ago, the who's who of design gathered on both sides of the river in Paris for the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes. By all accounts, it was a revolutionary moment — the pinpointable instant where the embellishment and ornament of Art Nouveau gave way to the modernist geometries of Art Deco. For us at Invisible Collection, it's really where it all began: that tangible shift that catapulted Les Arts Décoratifs into the limelight — and made them global. Over the next weeks, join us as we explore the Exposition's remarkable impact and legacy, and how the vision of those great names like Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, Jean-Michel Frank, and Pierre Chareau continue to shape the world of interiors today.

Away from the bustle of Salone del Mobile, Osanna Visconti opened the doors of her Milanese atelier for a private breakfast with The Invisible Collection and friends. ⁠ Bathed in golden spring light, the morning unfolded in the presence of her poetic bronze creations — shaped by the ancestral lost wax technique for which Osanna is so revered. Draped in soft fabrics and with Giberto Venezia glassware catching the sun, it was a rare moment of stillness amid the whirlwind of Design Week. This spring, the interior designer and AD100 star brings her cinematic eye to The Invisible Collection London, transforming our gallery into a sultry mise-en-scène inspired by the slow burn of Wong Kar-wai’s masterpiece, In The Mood for Love. Each vignette is underpinned by exquisite vintage pieces as well as the louche, luxurious designs from her collection - many of which can only be discovered at The Invisible Collection. An A-list cast of guest stars adds to the plot: new fabrics from DEDAR MILANO drape the Dolly Armchairs and Ottomans, paintings by Beau Gabriel, Pierre Bonnefille, and Gideon Rubin set the tone, while rare objets from L'œil de Ko lend depth and wonder to every composition.
