Sullivan Street Partners, which specialises in mid-market firms, has purchased a majority shareholding in TEIGNMOUTH MARITIME SERVICES (PLANT) LIMITED (TMS) and Hesselberg-Hydro, two marine infrastructure service providers. Labour suspends MP after arrest on suspicion of rape Labour has suspended MP and West of England mayor Dan Norris after he was arrested on suspicion of sexual offences against a girl and rape. The party confirmed on Saturday night that it had suspended Norris, 65, after being informed of his arrest, news agency PA reported. The MP for North East Somerset and Hanham has also lost the party whip in the House of Commons. First phase of £8.6m historic Swindon leisure centre restoration expected to be complete by end of year - facility closed two years ago 🏗📅 The first phase of multimillion-pound restoration work to a grade II*-listed Swindon leisure centre is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Beard is heading up construction. Health Hydro closed two years ago and Swindon Borough Council said "significant progress" is being made to bring it back to its former glory. The council acknowledged the restoration project is "taking longer than originally anticipated", but that there is "light at the end of the tunnel". The important first phase of restoration is due to be completed by the end of the year. In early 2026, it is expected the pool will reopen to the public after a period of fit-out by leisure operators GLL. Cornish inn dating back to 16th century reopens amid major refurbishment - has hosted historic figures including kings and poets 🍻👑 One of Cornwall's oldest inns, which has hosted renowned historic figures including kings and poets, has reopened following a "transformative" refurbishment. The Wellington, in the harbour village of Boscastle, boasts a new look, complete with an extensive terrace dining area, alongside three bar and restaurant spaces. Its 14 bedrooms and three family-sized apartments have also been renovated. King Edward VII and the esteemed novelist and poet Thomas Hardy, who gifted the pub intricate brass and ruby glass oil lamps, are amongst past guests.
