Thanks to the generosity of Nationwide Building Society, we've been awarded a £9,600 grant to fund the vCreate app in the Paediatric High Dependency Unit at University Hospital Southampton NHS FT for the next four years! vCreate is a secure video messaging app that allows our PHDU team to send personalised photo and video updates of babies and children to their parents when they can’t be at the hospital - helping families feel close, connected, and reassured, even from afar. This wouldn’t have been possible without Brett from Nationwide Southampton, who kindly submitted the application on our behalf. Thank you for championing our work and helping to make a difference to Southampton families.

Cakes, chocolate eggs, and a lot of heart. 💛 Today’s Easter egg raffle and bake sale at University Hospital Southampton NHS FT has shown just how far small acts of kindness can go. Thanks to the generous donations from Handelsbanken, Reed, Unite Students and Blue Frontier and all our amazing volunteers who baked for us, we’re raising money to help our hospital do even more for the people who need it. Events like this might be simple, but their impact is anything but – every slice sold and every tombola ticket bought helps make a real difference.

What a weekend! Yesterday, more than 125 incredible runners took on the ABP Southampton Marathon 🏃♂️ in support of Southampton Hospitals Charity, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved. Together, our amazing team have already raised over £37,000, helping Southampton Hospitals go even further for patients and their families. From start to finish, their dedication, passion, and determination shone through, each mile making a meaningful difference. Last night we had the pleasure of bringing together 40 incredible supporters, partners and donors for a special evening at Quob Park Estate, Hotel & Spa. It was a brilliant opportunity to share the vision and mission of Southampton Hospitals Charity, as well as the exciting ambitions we have as we continue to grow and support University Hospital Southampton NHS FT. Huge thanks to Quob Park Estate for hosting us so generously, and to everyone who joined us. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited about what’s next.
