Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, ADN is set to become a global leader, backed by a €7 billion non-NATO commercial order pipeline to accelerate its growth. This strategic milestone builds on CMN NAVAL’s deep-rooted history in the UAE and follows an initial partnership agreement signed at IDEX 2025. 𝗔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 ADN is more than a shipbuilder; it represents a new era of naval innovation. The joint venture will establish a cutting-edge design bureau, strengthening the UAE’s indigenous naval design capabilities while leveraging CMN NAVAL’s century-long expertise. By localizing intellectual property development, ADN will position the UAE as a driving force in the global naval sector. 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 ADN will integrate EDGE’s state-of-the-art defense technologies, including autonomous systems and smart weapon solutions, ensuring that future fleets are equipped with next-generation capabilities. Supported by CMN NAVAL’s global supply chain and advanced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) system, ADN will deliver cost-effective, high-performance vessels that redefine operational excellence. We are expanding our naval capabilities through a new Abu Dhabi-based, multi-billion-euro joint venture with CMN NAVAL. The JV, named AD NAVAL, in which EDGE will hold a 51% stake, will leverage an existing non-NATO commercial order pipeline worth approximately EUR 7 billion. Under an exclusivity agreement, the JV will bring together both companies to manufacture Corvettes, Offshore Patrol Vessels, High-speed Interceptors, Trimarans, and Landing Craft. AD NAVAL will also enable us to develop cross-complementary integration programmes for our autonomous air and sea systems, smart weapons, radar, and cyber solutions onto vessels being manufactured for non-NATO navies worldwide. Our Armed Forces pledge In 2023 we made a pledge to the Armed Forces Covenant, committing to honour and support the Armed Forces Community.  We recognise the value serving personnel, veterans and military families contribute to our country as well as our business.  The skills they not only bring to the business, but the positive contributions each of them has and continue to bring to the team. Last year in 2023, we proudly achieved the Bronze Award recognition as being an Armed Forces Employer. This strengthened our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and everything it stands for, to ensure those who serve are treated fairly and are not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives. The ERS encourages employers to support defence and the armed forces community and inspire others to do the same. We actively hold Military Vs Cancer fundraising events throughout the year, as well as interviewing our current Armed Forces/ veterans to encourage others to apply for our latest career vacancies.  As part of our pledge, we actively promote positive polices on reserves and demonstrate our support for reserve training and mobilisation. In total the Employer Recognition Scheme encompasses bronze, silver, and gold awards. So, it is fantastic news that after only one year since we were awarded Bronze, we have now achieved the ERS Silver Award! Isherwoods were delighted to be formally invited to the Military vs Cancer Gala Dinner held at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Two colleagues were given a guided tour of the famous RMAS then dined in the famous setting of the academy. Thank you for extending an invite it is a pleasure to be involved with such a great Charity.
