When we reached out for horseshoe donations, the incredible Sheila Smith quickly mobilised the equestrian community. 🐎 Their swift response saw us with twenty plus horseshoes! A big thank you to Hannah from With Love & Roses 💐, a steadfast supporter of our initiatives. She's once again bringing her creative flair to this fundraiser. 🌍 World Health Day - because health is a human right 💙 This World Health Day, we’re celebrating the vital work being done across our community to support health and well-being not just for today, but every day. At SCCYC Waterside Connect, our commitment to well-being is practical, inclusive, and deeply community-driven. Here’s what that looked like over the past year: 🧠 78 regular service users supported through our Mind-Body-Soul Well-being Hub 🏃♀️ 300+ people accessed well-being and sporting events 💬 100 individuals benefited from regular physical, emotional, and social well-being sessions 🤝 Tailored services for hard-to-reach groups, including: Affordable gym sessions Themed and quiet hours Social café & befriending Inclusive support for additional needs These aren't just numbers they represent real people, real challenges, and real impact. #CommunityWellbeing #SCCYC #HealthForAll #InclusionMatters #WatersideConnect #MindBodySoul #MakingADifference #HealthIsAHumanRight

Every week, Anita and her family volunteer their time to help us pack food aid parcels for the most vulnerable in our community. But they don’t stop there. They also bring along donations - bags filled with food and essentials to help stock our food bank shelves.
