Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting a roundtable event with LawInSport on the topic of ‘how best to grow women’s sport’. The discussion featured a diverse group of participants covering a huge range of sports, and Eva McHale and Tammy Knox in our sports group discussed the commercialisation of women’s sport and athlete welfare with guests: looking at the positive things we are seeing, but also the frustrations, and what needs to change. A big thank you to Gabriella Lowe, LawInSport and everyone who joined us for demonstrating their passion on this topic. #womeninsport #sport #sportslaw

The potential real-world applications of AI are endless, with companies in every industry taking on the technology to improve efficiency and reduce costs. One sector increasingly making use of AI is the clinical trials space, where it is deployed to improve the processes of drug discovery, drug testing, development of medical devices, and many more. As part of our inaugural life sciences conference held at the end of last year, our panel of experts sat down to discuss the real-world applications of AI and how the new technology can be used to innovate clinical trials, as well as how the fast-evolving nature of AI and its increased application brings with it regulatory and data protection challenges, that companies in the sector will have to face.
