Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Being proactive is better than being reactive, and that is exactly what the team at Obedair are up to this month👍 Free PSA tests were offered to all of their male employee’s as part of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Alongside this there was a short session and a video explaining the key reasons and benefits of regular testing. With approximately 55,000 men being diagnosed with Proatate cancer in the UK during 2024, it’s certainly something which all men from around the age of 50 and above should test for. HR Dept are proud to be working with such a supportive client who truly look after their workforce 😊 How do you look after your employees? Not just for now, but for their future as well?

This March, we united to raise awareness and support for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. We hosted a Coffee Morning at our Marjons Wellbeing site, creating an open space to discuss men's health, share valuable information about prostate cancer and emphasise the importance of early detection. ☕️💬 As part of our commitment to encouraging proactive health, Obedair provided PSA tests for all the men in our business. These tests are quick, easy, and non-invasive, requiring only a small blood sample from a simple finger prick. Results are available in just 5 minutes, making it easier than ever to take action towards better health. 💙 By hosting this event, we aimed to spread awareness, educate and inspire conversations around the significance of early detection in prostate cancer. Around 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime.
