🚧 Progress Update: Project Oscar, Bideford 🚧 Great strides are being made at Project Oscar in Bideford, where we are delivering a brand-new Operational Services Centre for Torridge Council. This state-of-the-art facility will become the main hub for the council’s Operational Services teams, providing dedicated office space for employees working in waste & recycling and street cleansing. ♻️ In addition to office facilities, the site will also feature vehicle workshops and parking for the council’s fleet, ensuring efficient operations for essential services. Current Progress: ✅ Cut and fill and cartaway – an average of 42 lorries of surplus soil are being removed daily, with 14 lorries of stone brought in. ✅ Attenuation tank excavations underway. Upcoming Works: 🔹 Installation of land drainage under attenuation tanks (additional works outside our original tender). 🔹 Installation of attenuation tanks and associated backfill. 🔹 Excavation and concreting of footings. 🔹 Steel frame installation.
