Incredibly fortunate and grateful to be given the opportunity to experience such an incredible holiday thanks to Newmarket Holidays. 🙏 I never expected when they came in to HQ for a takeover day back September that I'd be leaving work that day with a once in a lifetime trip to look forward to. It’s safe to say I’m now a fully converted escorted tourer — experiencing it firsthand has given me an even greater appreciation of just how amazing these trips are! Of course, I couldn’t help but document the whole experience, and I’m so excited to share my insights with anyone and everyone hoping to visit South Africa one day! 🇿🇦 A holiday I will always remember. Responsibility is one of our key values. Our internal Greenmakers team have been busy engaging employees in social and environmental issues, all whilst trying to better the wellbeing of fellow employees and the local community. Examples of the Greenmakers in action this year include providing refurbished laptops to less-advantaged students in the local community and volunteering with the Dons Local Action Group to collect, pack and deliver food donations to help combat food poverty within the local community. We are excited to see what our fantastic Greenmakers will get up to this year!

At Newmarket Holidays, we’re proud to partner with one of our trusted DMCs, Distinct Destinations in India, on an inspiring project to support the Daha Village community in Madhya Pradesh. Together with our charity partner, Just a Drop, we’re working to: Provide reliable access to clean water for the local school Renovate the school’s sanitation block Deliver WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and MHM (Menstrual Hygiene Management) training programmes This initiative is directly aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation – Ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all SDG 4: Quality Education – Creating a safe, inclusive learning environment that supports better education outcomes As part of this collaboration, Distinct Destinations will host their annual gala evening on 19th December, welcoming over 300 of their partners. This event will not only amplify fundraising efforts but also provide a fantastic platform to showcase the transformative work that Just a Drop do.
