Cuando una iniciativa que creas aquí, en #DowTarragona, se convierte en algo más grande que pasa a formar parte de la política global de Dow y que recibe varios premios nacionales de #inclusión por generar un impacto positivo en la sociedad, te enorgulleces más que nunca del equipo que lo hizo realidad. Y aquí estamos, recibiendo un reconocimiento en nombre de Dow por nuestro proyecto “Puntos de Inclusión” en las paradas de mantenimiento programadas de nuestras instalaciones. Otro que se suma a los ya recibidos, tanto internos como externos. 🏆🎉 Tuve el privilegio de recoger el premio #OrgulloCultural para Empresas e Instituciones de myGwork e It Gets Better España. Este galardón no solo celebra nuestro compromiso con la inclusión y la diversidad, sino que también reconoce el esfuerzo y la pasión de todos los que han contribuido a este proyecto desde su inicio en 2021. 🤝 Tener una cultura empresarial basada en la diversidad, la inclusión y la equidad comienza con personas cuya pasión les lleva a desarrollar iniciativas diferentes. Personas como Jose Luis Carrasquilla Carmona, siempre al pie del cañón durante todos estos años. 🔴 El pasado jueves se celebró el 'XI Encuentro de #EmpresasResponsables con el VIH', organizado por Trabajando en Positivo. Un espacio necesario para seguir recordando que la #inclusiónlaboral de las personas con #VIH sigue siendo una deuda pendiente. 📊 Un 60% de personas encuestadas considera aceptable exigir una prueba serológica para acceder a un empleo. Un dato que, lejos de garantizar seguridad, refleja prejuicios aún arraigados incluso en contextos considerados referentes en derechos laborales y libertades individuales. 💬 “Cuando postulé para un puesto en una empresa más respetables de Venezuela. Llegué hasta las evaluaciones médicas. Cuando el doctor me pregunta: ‘¿Posees alguna enfermedad crónica?’ Le respondí: ‘Soy VIH positivo’. Ahí casi de inmediato cerró la carpeta y ya sabía que se había acabado mi candidatura” — Endrys Cisneros, testimonio real compartido durante el evento. El encuentro abordó desde el #acceso al empleo de #personasmigrantes con VIH en situación administrativa irregular, hasta la relación entre #infección y #discapacidad. ⚠️ La falta de #homologación de títulos, las #trabaslegales, la #discriminaciónmúltiple, el #sexismo y el #desconocimiento de la enfermedad son obstáculos que requieren transformaciones profundas en políticas laborales, económicas y sociales. 🟢 Pero también hubo lugar para el reconocimiento a quienes sí actúan: empresas como Corresponsables, myGwork o Subiendo al Sur Y sí, todavía queda mucho por hacer.
