As we reach the end of spring, and look ahead with optimism to what will hopefully be a warm and sunny summer, filled with sport, it has been a good time to reflect on the tremendously exciting last three months that the The HEINEKEN Company has had with Tesco. The Tesco Team at Welwyn has executed an excellent Fit for Growth plan in Beer and Cider, across Main Estate stores, including branded modulars that help make iconic brands like Strongbow really stand out on shelf. Following the huge success of the exclusive launch of Cruzcampo across Tesco Group last August, in the last 3 months we have launched more very exciting, great tasting innovations in Tesco, including Sale Di Mare, from Birra Moretti, Foster’s Shandy, Strongbow Zest and, exclusively across Tesco Group, Strongbow Strawberry (available in store and online from this week!). In addition to these great innovations, we have already delivered some amazing branded activation, including Inch’s “Tastemonials” and our Heineken UCL Final Tickets Competition, led by Declin Doull, and with lots more to come this year! We are very grateful for the ongoing support of the great team at Tesco, including Jason Godley, James Renshaw, David Albon, Matthew Moreton and Ben Cole. Massive, massive thanks also to the Marketing, Innovation, Production and Supply Chain Teams at The HEINEKEN Company that we work with each day, they are truly best in class!
