🚀 Celebrating Life Sciences Innovation in Leicestershire! 💡 Last week, we were proud to co-deliver the only dedicated life sciences day of the Leicestershire Innovation Festival 2025 – the Charnwood Campus Cluster Business Support event – alongside our fantastic partners at Charnwood Campus Science Innovation and Technology Park and the Institute for Precision Health, University of Leicester. With over 100 delegates from across the life sciences community – including business leaders, innovators, clinicians, academics and support organisations – it was a brilliant showcase of what happens when collaboration is the driving force behind innovation. The day was packed with insights, inspiration and real-world support: ✅ 1-to-1 mini innovation clinics ✅ An innovation marketplace covering regulatory, IP, funding, design, and NHS adoption ✅ Presentations and panels that sparked new thinking and fresh opportunities. We heard from amazing speakers including Matthew Press (Kimal) on the power of collaboration, Dr Maggi Tebrake (Solventum) on medtech materials innovation, Kate Pym on UK healthcare market access, and David Hawkins (SOTAS) on making sense of AI in healthcare. Thanks to #MMMember Al Mills Sequel Consultants Ltd for hosting the panel discussions, featuring an incredible lineup of regional entrepreneurs sharing their journeys and vision – from diagnostics and equitable maternity care to clinical sampling and home-based care.
