They explored the growing impact of financial worries on young people’s mental health in the UK, sharing key insights from our latest project, Money Talks: The Youth Tax. Their discussion sparked important conversations on how brands can play a bigger role in addressing this critical issue, leaving the room with valuable takeaways. 🎉 Celebrating Yahoo's 30th birthday! We had a fantastic time celebrating Yahoo's 30th birthday with a packed house (and livestream) for a morning of learning, networking, and prizes. March marked Women's History Month and International Women's Day and our Open Women's Network, in partnership with Teads, delivered a series of events focused on key issues impacting women. We aimed to provide actionable insights and promote meaningful change with highlights including: ✨ Care Economy Workshop with UN Women UK: Exploring the potential of the Care Economy to drive economic growth and gender equality. ✨ Financial Literacy Fireside Chat with TikTok: Focusing on empowering women with the knowledge and tools to improve their financial well-being. ✨ Gender Pension Gap Session: Addressing the challenges women face in retirement savings and exploring strategies for closing the gap. ✨ Speed Mentoring: Connecting women across IPG Mediabrands and Teads with senior leaders for guidance and support. Understanding the diverse experiences of women and addressing systemic inequalities is crucial for building a more equitable future and we're proud of all our teams for their commitment to making a real difference. 🙌Women in Trading inaugural member mixer We loved hosting the inaugural Women In Trading member mixer in our London office this week. Two of our Mediabrands' team, Duri Mehmet and Vanessa Doyle are part of the WIT committee, whose mission is to attract, retain, and champion women in trading roles, working to increase visibility in a sector of the industry that lacks diversity. The event brought the community together, helped to make new connections and saw the announcement of WIT's two-year partnership with Ovarian Cancer Action, the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. Thank you to Cary Wakefield, CEO of Ovarian Cancer Action for joining the session, to all our attendees and to Noel Cullen for documenting the day with some fantastic photos! We look forward to seeing what's next for this powerful Group. #WomenInTrading
