What’s different about #linkedinlocal to other networking events? It’s not about people bringing their professional face to another networking event to pitch their business. In fact, one of the principles of our events is that there is no selling and no pitching. We are just providing a space for everyone to get to know each other. Anyone can come along. The key is that we are responding to an appetite, a need, within our local community – we are not trying to create that appetite.
#Linkedinlocal New Forest also gives back to the community. Any profit will go to a New Forest charity. #Linkedinlocal is a not for profit concept where the hosts and everyone involved give their time voluntarily.
Our New Forest group was launched in February 2019 and continues to meet informally every month at different venues around the New Forest.
The aim of the group is to get local business people together and to get to know the faces and lives of those behind our profiles. Meet other LinkedIn users in a relaxed, no pitch, environment and get to know the people behind the profiles. Build new relationships, collaborate and be part of a movement that is changing the face of networking!
