The tech behind the new Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is insane. 🤯 Retractable roof. 360° video screens. A fully retractable pitch. Climate control so advanced it feels like sci-fi. • Ikigai has guided millions. It’s a Japanese philosophy that beautifully captures the intersection of what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. At LCP, we’ve always admired its clarity. But in our work with founders, rights holders and performance-led teams, we needed a version anchored in execution. So we developed Elcepaï. Not a replacement. A translation. Inspired by ikigai, shaped by the commercial realities we live in every day. Elcepaï is where four forces align: - What you’re built for - What the market rewards - Where you add real value - What keeps you in the game At the centre is your Execution Zone, the place where clarity becomes momentum. For us, Elcepaï is about alignment with action. Still purposeful. Still grounded. But geared for delivery. Elcepaï Born from ikigai. Built for impact. • Sport: The Untapped Engine of CSR Brilliant post by Hannah Brookes, a timely reminder that CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) isn’t just about ticking boxes. It’s about alignment. Relevance. Impact. But here’s the thing many marketers miss: sport is one of the most powerful (and underused) platforms for CSR. While arts and music often get first dibs on purpose-led partnerships, sport is sitting on untapped potential: - It builds resilience, community, and identity - It reaches audiences mainstream media can’t - It changes lives, not just headlines LCP Global Sports Consulting believes that CSR-led sponsorship is the future. Not just brand awareness, but brand alignment. Imagine backing the next generation of female athletes in underserved areas. Funding mental health programmes through grassroots clubs. Or supporting disability sport with inclusive kit design. Sport makes it real. It’s emotional, scalable, and unforgettable. The challenge is telling the story right and that’s where the real opportunity lies. If your brand is rethinking CSR, sport deserves a seat at the table. What is CSR? And how do you get it right? Corporate Social Responsibility isn’t just a box to tick. It’s your opportunity to lead with purpose and connect your brand to causes your employees care about and your customers believe in. True CSR is about alignment. It’s about finding partnerships that not only deliver social impact but also make business sense. ✅ It’s when a law firm sponsors theatre outreach workshops that boost young people’s confidence. ✅ When a sports brand funds grassroots coaching in underserved areas. ✅ When a tech company supports creative education - helping build the next generation of diverse talent. 📊 Did you know? 77% of consumers are more likely to use companies committed to making the world a better place - Better Business Journal Employees who feel their company supports the community are 13x more likely to look forward to coming to work - Cone Communication Employee Engagement Study CSR-aligned sponsorship improves brand perception, trust, and retention. In both arts and sport, I’ve seen firsthand how strategic CSR-led partnerships create value that goes far beyond visibility. ✨ The future of sponsorship is value-driven. What CSR led sponsorships have you seen and have meant something to you? #CSR #SponsorshipStrategy #CorporateResponsibility #StrategicPartnerships #ArtsAndSport #PurposeDrivenBrand Tessa S.

To quote someone I spoke to recently....'I can't imagine being personable enough to ask people to give me money' Not a truer statement has been said about those of us in the partnership/fundraising/sponsorship roles. It truly doesn't feel like effort though to be this personable. What some may see as huge effort, we see as genuine opportunity to help both sides win.

  • Very few people have influenced the field of human performance like Dr. Andy Walshe, and we’re proud to be collaborating with him at LCP Global Sports Consulting in his new role as Head of Human Potential. Dr. Andy’s work needs no introduction. Over the past three decades, he’s helped shape how the world thinks about elite performance - from designing systems for Olympic athletes, special forces, and Red Bull’s global talent (including the Stratos space jump), to co-founding The Liminal Collective, a community dedicated to human potential. Andy will be collaborating with us to bring the thinking behind the Liminal Collective into LCP’s performance work with people and organisations, helping us tackle challenges across sport, business, and leadership with greater depth and clarity. “Human performance isn’t just about outcomes, it’s about unlocking what’s possible in the moments that matter.” - Andy Walshe. We’ll be working together to take bold ideas into the real world - launching new ventures, supporting ambitious organisations, strengthening systems under pressure, and helping unlock performance where it matters most. It’s a privilege to be collaborating with someone who has spent decades championing human potential in sport, leadership, philanthropy and life. Andy’s wisdom, generosity, and support have meant a great deal over the years, and we’re proud to be working alongside him in this next chapter. From the Ballers League to AI in sport, from Barcelona’s financial levers to whether the “Wembley of the North” is actually viable, we’re asking the big, messy, fascinating questions shaping the future of sport. No promises on answers, but plenty of honest takes, bold ideas, and good company. Episode 1 just dropped. It’s thoughtful, provocative and worth a listen. https://lnkd.in/ej7GmWYh Tony Paladin Arvid Lyngnes Dr. Hatem Goucha PCC

Is there room for one more podcast on the business side of sports? Is the Wembley of the north feasible? What are the financial leavers Barcelona keeps activating? Why is the Djokovic vs ATP important? Is the Ballers league the future of sports? How will AI change things up? We may not have all the answers, but we do have a lot of questions.. So together with my colleagues Dr. Hatem Goucha PCC and Tony Paladin I will co-host a podcast series on Markets, Money and Moves in Sports. THE POWER OF NETWORKS The other day, I shared a simple work update—just a quick post about a new project. Nothing flashy. What happened next made me stop and reflect. The people who commented first weren’t strangers. They were the familiar voices—the encouragers, the motivators, the quiet supporters who’ve always shown up. They didn’t ask, “What’s in it for me?” They just said, “You’ve got this,” and “How can I help?” They were the givers. And in that moment, I was reminded that real networks—social, professional, or casual—aren’t built on likes or business cards. They’re built on value. On giving first, and trusting that the return will come, often when you least expect it. It’s strange, isn’t it? We live in the most connected era in human history—notifications buzzing, timelines overflowing—yet real, meaningful interaction feels rarer than ever. Maybe that’s because we often come to the relationship table looking to take. What if the shift happens when we arrive asking, “What can I give?” Here’s what I’ve come to believe (and when you get to the last paragraph you will see how these words came to be): - If you can add value to others, the world has a way of adding value back. Don’t stress the timeline. - Look for the opportunity in every interaction. Sometimes the smallest doors open into the biggest rooms. - If someone gives you something—a chance, a connection, a kind word—find a way to give three times that value in return. Generosity compounds. We all need a tribe. Just make sure yours is filled with givers. Let them guide you. And when you become one of them, you’ll see how powerful a connected life can be. #GiversGain #NetworksMatter #AddValue #SocialCapital #GratitudeInAction #ChroniclesOfMotion #GiveMoreThanYouTake The final paragraph: this thought process was stimulated by having been referred to a book called ‘Give and Take’ by Adam Grant. Thanks to Arvid Lyngnes for the mentoring (giving way more than has been asked of me)
