We’ve made it even easier for customers to add additional parties to applications in our Digital Registration Service. From 31 March, users can now include landlord and tenant details, specify the capacity in which they’re acting, add representation, and provide supporting evidence—all directly in the service. These enhancements respond to real feedback from legal professionals and conveyancers, who told us the previous process led to errors and requisitions, especially when dealing with cases involving deceased proprietors or guardians. This builds on last year’s improvements and ensures names are entered accurately, evidence is attached when needed, and identity verification is completed where prompted. With more than 1.5 million applications processed annually via the Digital Registration Service, reducing errors and avoiding delays is crucial. We’re also working on surfacing title restrictions and lender restrictions that could impact an application, helping customers stay compliant and avoid avoidable requisitions. Thank you to everyone who contributed feedback and participated in user testing—your insights continue to shape a more efficient and user-friendly service. Stay updated on upcoming features and improvements through our Digital Services Roadmap. https://lnkd.in/eS_ghw-Z #HMLandRegistry #DigitalTransformation #Conveyancing #PropertyLaw #UX

Don't top the league! Names are number 1 on the leaderboard of requisition points. Check names match exactly across all documents and the register. Spelling differences, order of names, initials, etc - if you spot a variation, just tell us the correct name, the evidence you have for this and that you have the authority to make changes, and we'll do the rest. #Top10Tips

Consider this 🤔 Your corporate client is making a distribution in specie at market value. They have sufficient reserves, so how will you fill out panel 8 of the TR1 (the consideration)? In the latest blog in our Asking for guidance series, an HM Land Registry expert considers this unusual question. Did you get it right? https://lnkd.in/e_NkunHG

Thanks to Ian Quayle and IQ Legal Training for running this mornings webinar "Executing Documents Supported By HM Land Registry" Thanks also to event sponsors Stewart Title and Move Reports UK. Great to hear from Ian as well as from Joe Douglass, Tom Crago, Martin Smith, Nikki Turner and Rachel Smith from HM Land Registry. Joe and Martin have been to Wilson Browne Solicitors offices recently to meet with Jenny Woodruff and I previously too and it's great to see that link and communication between Land Reg and law firms being fostered. Great to see the real life requisition examples we discussed at our meeting being included in today's training! #Webinars #ExecutionOfDeeds Lawyers attend webinars and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and industry practices.
