In a recent Railway Gazette International article, our CEO, Alistair Gordon, discusses how Keolis UK's proactive strategies have significantly reduced antisocial behaviour on Nottingham Trams. By implementing targeted enforcement and community outreach, we've achieved a one-third decrease in incidents over the past year. This success underscores our commitment to enhancing passenger safety and fostering a positive travel environment. 👥 Youth outreach workers on the system 🤝 Collaboration with local institutions 🧠 Highly trained frontline teams   Ultimately this isn’t about more policing, it’s about prevention, visibility and trust.   We are extremely proud of the work our incredible teams are doing in Nottingham and beyond. A big thank you to Railway Gazette International for shining a well-deserved light on their efforts. • Today, we had the incredible privilege of welcoming Our Dementia Choir to the depot as we officially launched them as our Charity of the Year. We've already kicked off our fundraising efforts and are excited to do much more throughout 2025 for this amazing cause. The visit was filled with enthusiasm, and plenty of ideas were shared on how we can collaborate. We can't wait to get working on bringing them to life! #UKTrams #Nottingham #OurDementiaChoir #NET

  • On Sunday 8th December, children and mums supported by Central Women's Aid joined us for a festive tram ride filled with treats and surprises. The tram met the group at Phoenix Park, where each child had the chance to visit Santa in his grotto. There, they received a gift (kindly bought and donated by our office and management colleagues) and goody bags packed with NET goodies. The highlight of the day for the kids was spending time in the driver’s cab, tooting the horn and sharing festive messages over the tannoy. Once everyone had received their gift from Santa and enjoyed the driver’s cab experience, Santa’s elf drove the group to Wilkinson Street, where a cheerful singsong added to the festive atmosphere. The day concluded with a behind the scenes tour of the depot. A huge thank you to the staff who gave up their Sunday afternoon to volunteer to support the visit. We've had a a wonderful year supporting Nottingham Central Women’s Aid as our Charity of the Year raising over £1,900. This event was a fantastic way to bid them farewell for now. #NET #NottinghamTrams #FestiveTram #KeolisUK

During Sunday night of weekend 34 we undertook a complete contact wire renewal on behalf of NET Nottingham Trams through the Beeston area. The renewal followed on from our work to reinstate the damaged overhead line in 2023. Large radial loads due to the track curvature and a complex road closure/traffic management scheme made this a challenging piece of work to deliver. We undertook the wiring in one operation - recovering the old wire and paying the new out in one pass at approx 75% tension before finalasing tensions and clipping in. This approach was developed to ensure we could safely deliver the work within the unique challenges of the high street environment and within the planned road closure. Thanks to our supply partners: TWD Group Limited And SRS Rail System International Ltd Tom Doran Chris Withall

  • Like many organisations, our Remembrance commemorations hold deep significance. We honour those who have served our country and recognise the contributions of our own veteran colleagues within the business. In preparation for Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, two of our veteran colleagues proposed creating a new memorial area at our depot. This space now features statues of the “Unknown Tommy” and the “Woman in War”—powerful symbols of remembrance from the Royal British Legion, honouring the sacrifices made by all who have served in the armed forces. Our team gathered at 11:00 a.m. on both days to observe a two-minute silence, joined by colleagues across the company in a collective tribute to those who served and continue to serve. We are proud to commemorate our veterans and to have a dedicated space that embodies our respect and gratitude for their service.
