Women in tech have made remarkable strides, breaking barriers and advocating for greater gender diversity. Yet, the industry remains male-dominated, presenting persistent challenges.
Historically, women were pioneers in computing, but as technology evolved, the field became increasingly male-driven. Today, while the IT industry offers opportunities, obstacles like leadership barriers, gender bias, and workplace discrimination continue to hinder career advancement.
Efforts to close the gender gap are gaining momentum through mentorship, training, and support initiatives. However, progress remains slow, and achieving true gender parity is still a long journey ahead.
