With the robot #Blue taking over the internet, it is perfect timing to showcase our progress in robotics, digital twins, future networks, and AI integration. In addition to the photorealistic and physics-based replica, our DT features a high-fidelity representation of the network environment (a #NetworkDT) within a future factory. This enables us to accurately test various end-to-end scenarios, for instance, experimenting with the impact of networking conditions on the remote control of robots or the communication-computing requirements for autonomous edge AI agents. This demo showcases several state-of-the-art solutions, such as split-machine learning, Generative AI for human-robot collaboration, semantic communications, distributed monitoring, and AI-native RAN automation. 🎤 AI UK 2025 kicks off with opening speeches from AI Minister and Turing CEO AI UK 2025 has opened with key remarks from Feryal Clark, Minister for AI and Digital Government, and Jean Innes, CEO of the Alan Turing Institute. The national showcase brings together experts from academia, industry and policy to explore AI’s opportunities and challenges. 🗨️ In the opening speech by Feryal Clark, she reflected that: “The UK’s legacy is one of leadership, but we are not content to let a legacy remain just that. To reap the rewards, academia, industry and the public sector must work together in forums like this to solve our most pressing challenges” 🗨️ Jean Innes said: “History teaches us that when a technological revolution shakes the economy and generates huge potential, opportunities and risks, a disruptive and difficult process of learning and adaption must take place over decades to realise the full potential of the new technology.
