🔆GOLDBECK SOLAR C-Level Workshop 2025: A Step into the Future of Leadership Earlier this month we participated in an inspiring C-Level Workshop, moderated by Sarah Wagenblast from O+P Consult GmbH. Together with our leaders Joachim Goldbeck (CEO), Boris Beltermann (COO), Eric Jaschke (CFO), and Tobias Schüßler (COO), we delved into the latest models and tools of the Leadership Development Program 2024. Workshop Highlights: ✔️ The Golden Circle by Simon Sinek: Why we do what we do. ✔️ VUCA World: Navigating volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. ✔️ Agility and Agile Principles: Adaptability and continuous improvement. ✔️ Situational Leadership: Adapting leadership style to employee maturity levels. ✔️ SCARF Model by David Rock: Needs in change processes and collaboration. Key Insights: ❗Giving Feedback: Constructive feedback including perception, impact, wish. ❗Agile Team Challenge: Practical application of agile principles through the Ball Point Game. ❗De-escalation Techniques: Judo technique for conflict resolution. This workshop provided us with valuable insights that we will implement in our leadership routine. Together, we continue to grow professionally and personally! What does a modern construction site look like? Our goal is to build the best solar systems for our customers. To achieve this, we continuously improve our systems and workflows. 💡 Digital tools and cloud-based technologies support us in many everyday processes. We aim to leverage these advantages for our PV systems as well. With the digital construction site, GOLDBECK SOLAR is shaping the future of solar plant construction in projects across Germany and Canada. The digital construction site system ensures that all documents and information related to a solar installation are accessible and usable for everyone involved - at any time. 👉 We use a digital twin of the project facilities to enhance planning and coordination. This is particularly beneficial for subsequent operational management within O&M services and warranty management. 👉 Plans, assembly instructions, and directions are stored in the cloud, making them easily accessible. Tasks and defect lists are also managed digitally. 👉 Construction progress is documented and monitored via drones. Comparisons with the project plan are conducted automatically. 👉 Reports are generated automatically. Additionally, the system collects data and KPIs, providing a solid foundation for calculating, planning, and executing future projects with even greater precision. 👉 Quality control is reinforced through digital workflows. Spring is the most important time in for our O&M team. Why? ✅ Just like nature, spring is the time for solar systems to come back to full power after the off-peak season. After little sun, poor angles of incidence, snow and rain, the solar modules now face the full load of sunshine and still low temperatures. This increases production due to the low line resistance.  ❓ Did you know that solar systems produce more energy per hour of sunshine during this period than in summer? Monitoring during this period is particularly important. We call this period the 'stewing weeks' because the sudden increase in output means that a component such as an inverter is more likely to develop problems and monitoring is the only way to ensure that the problem is resolved promptly. ☀️ During these weeks, the maintenance plan for a solar system is drawn up and the first maintenance work is carried out. This continues until October, when all systems have been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. In addition, new orders and work left over from the previous year are carried out more frequently. During the #BETD last week, our CEO Joachim Goldbeck as President of the BSW – Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ana Lia Rojas representing Chilean Association for Renewable Energies and Storage, ACERA AG. ✅ The agreement is ment to establish a collaborative framework to strengthen the development of solar energy and storage in Chile, promoting knowledge exchange, generation of business opportunities and cooperation in regulation and public policy.
