🌊 Subsea Expo 2025 – And that’s a wrap! A huge thank you to all the exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, attendees, schoolchildren and all our partners who have been part of Subsea Expo at P&J Live in Aberdeen over the last three days and made the event a success. It has been a vibrant and busy few days that has once again showcased the innovation, technology and collaboration that is present in the subsea sector and wider underwater industry. What was front and centre was a real sense of community and a desire to embrace the energy transition. #SubseaExpo #GlobalUnderwaterHub

🌊 UK Subsea Cable Systems Forum – next steps Following the publication of its Subsea Cable Systems Whitepaper in February, Global Underwater Hub recently held the first meeting of its UK Subsea Cable Systems Forum steering group. The group is comprised of key supply chain companies from across the lifecycle of offshore wind projects and the forum has four focus areas – design and manufacturing, handling and installation, operations and maintenance, and insurance. To drive forward action in these core areas, a number of subgroups are being formed to deliver technical guidance and thought leadership, which requires input and support from the wider supply chain. Global Underwater Hub is calling on companies to participate in two initial task force meetings over the coming eight weeks to drive forward discussion and identify the order of priority to tackle the four focus areas. Participation in the task force meetings is open to existing and future members of Global Underwater Hub, and if your company is interested in being involved, please contact Alex MacPhie by e-mailing alex.macphie@theguh.co.uk. 📄 Copies of the whitepaper can be downloaded from the Global Underwater Hub website at https://lnkd.in/eXHz2erZ #GlobalUnderwaterHub #underwaterindustry #subseacables #offshorewind #floatingoffshorewind
