🌟 Reflecting on Two Months at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies 🌟   What an incredible journey it has been so far! Embracing the GEMBA philosophy has truly been my favorite part of this new role. The focus on going to the source and understanding processes firsthand has opened my eyes to so many opportunities for growth and improvement.   Currently, I'm enjoying the vibrant atmosphere at our UK site and appreciating the fantastic hospitality that FDBK offers. The camaraderie and sunshine add an extra layer of motivation as we continue to make strides on Project Borealis.   The genki and positive energy around the site's progress are palpable  – a true testament to our collective effort and dedication.     Looking forward to many more accomplishments and shared successes with this talented team! 💪✨ #OneFDB AJ Troiano PhD, RBP

  • Built for what’s next. Lars Petersen shares his thoughts on how we’re shaping the unique and future-ready kojoX network ⬇️

Every day customers reach out to me asking how to futureproof manufacturing.
My answer to them is simple: dual sourcing, meaning manufacturing in two different countries.   At FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, we offer biomanufacturing capacity readily available across the globe, helping our customers manage and mitigate the potential impacts of geopolitical developments.   We are able to offer dual sourcing, through our network due to our proprietary kojoX platform. KojoX is a first-of-its-kind modular approach with standardized equipment, processes, and procedures across our sites, which ensures supply chain resilience.   Our team is always anticipating the needs of our customers. Here's why our partners trust us:   ✅ First and foremost, our exceptional people, from our construction partners that are rapidly building our facilities at speed, to our scientists and engineers that are making our partners’ medicines, and our administrative staff that ties it all together. ✅ Proven historical track record of $8 billion+ investment and rapid expansion in the US and Europe ✅ A DNA rooted in Life Sciences ✅160,000 L large-scale capacity in North Carolina this year, which we will double in 2028 including Fill & Finish. ✅240,000 L large-scale capacity in Denmark with 400,000 L by 2026 including Fill & Finish. ✅Unique KojoX approach driving operational excellence, and unprecedented integration across the network to maximize efficiency in delivering medicines. ✅In addition we open 2K, 5K facility in Billingham, UK in 2026, and in Toyama, Japan in 2027 also based on dual sourcing KojoX concept and an option to replicate same design into our Texas facility where the shell is already established   We focus and perfect the biomanufacturing strategy so our partners can concentrate on developing life-impacting treatments for patients worldwide.   I'm proud to be their trusted manufacturing partner in ensuring critical medicines reach patients, regardless of country or circumstance. #PartnersForLife

  • Recently, we hosted a Women's History Panel at our Raleigh, NC site, where several of our leaders shared their personal journeys to their current roles, focusing on fostering empowerment and growth. They shared their experiences, highlighting how perseverance and dedication have helped them overcome challenges and achieve success. This discussion also focused on strategies for supporting and mentoring others in a way that reflects the values of inclusion and collaboration, rather than division. This event was a celebration of diverse contributions, consistent with our commitment to nurturing an environment where everyone has the chance to excel. Inspired by the courage and passion of our leaders, we ensure we have an open, fair and clear corporate culture. Special thanks to our speakers Laurie Braxton, Priya Konduru, CMRP, CRL, Neha Frantz, MS, CA-AM, and DEEPALI BELLE #WomensHistory #Leadership #Resilience #Empowerment
