The exact moment The Diary Of A CEO hit 10 MILLION YouTube subscribers 🤯 At some point I’ll take the time to reflect on what a milestone this is, the lessons we’ve learnt & just how far off this felt when we started. But for now, it’s time to celebrate the team who’ve got us here. The most obsessed, focussed, ridiculously kind & humble people you’ve ever met. Cheers to 10 MIL! 🥂

Chief of Staff & COO to Steven Bartlett | Scaling Global Creator Brands | Media, Investment & IP Strategy | Former COO to Simon Cowell

I thought my career was over. Four years ago, I saw a post on LinkedIn from Steven Bartlett saying he was hiring. At the time, it was just him, Sophie Chapman, his dog and a big vision. The rest of the world was deep in the pandemic, but there was something so wildly hopeful about that post that I had to find out what this guy was up to. I didn’t understand his world and that both terrified and fascinated me. It made me realise how far I’d drifted. I felt irrelevant, out of touch, and haunted by the feeling of being left behind. We exchanged emails. Nothing came of it. The timing wasn’t right. Then I thought my life, as I knew it, was over too. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, and my world stopped. I lost myself to survival for the next two and a half years—and, as so many people will understand, when you emerge, you are forever changed. In Jan 2024, while working for Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity, I found an email from Steven in my junk folder. He was asking if I was still open to a conversation. It was four years since our first emails - what felt like a lifetime later. I mentally prepared my professional explanation for the “career gap,” the “pivot,” and the drastically different hairstyle! But when I sat down with Steven Bartlett, Georgie Holt and Christiana Brenton, I just knew. I was meant to be here, with these people, in this moment, building something that mattered. So I told them the truth. The whole, unfiltered truth. And piece by piece, I realised I was still here too. In April 2024, I joined Steven Bartlett and the FLIGHTSTORY team. Last month, I was promoted to Chief of Staff & COO of Steven’s Private Office alongside Amy Golding. I’m not a public person, and this isn’t something I usually do. But for anyone who’s experienced a life-altering moment and felt like their story had ended, know this: sometimes the universe has a strange, beautiful way of showing you exactly when and how to begin again. And if you’re still in it, still trying to find your way, please remember that every part of you is still there. Waiting. Ready. You haven’t lost who you are. You’re just becoming something new. To the entire village that helped rebuild me and continues to cheer me on, thank you. And to Steven Bartlett .. thank you for choosing me for this mission! Time to get back to work. Because building and now rebuilding is what I do best

    Data Scientist at FlightStory

My work got featured in The Sunday Times Last weekend, the tools that I've been developing at FLIGHTSTORY got a mention in a profile of Steven Bartlett. Building Guest Radar and Show Radar has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences. What started as data science projects quickly evolved into full-stack development challenges that pushed me to rapidly expand beyond my comfort zone into frontend frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and modern web development. I'm grateful to work at a company where "that's not my job description" doesn't exist. The pace and urgency at Flight Story creates an environment where you either grow rapidly or get left behind - there's no standing still when you're building tools that need to deliver immediate value. That kind of environment isn't for everyone, but for those who thrive on practical problem-solving and rapid growth, it's ideal. Looking forward to seeing what we build next. https://lnkd.in/eG-idrKd

The next generation of CMOs will come from today’s Social Media Managers. Last night, we gathered 40 of the brightest social media minds in Manchester to talk about where this industry is heading. We weren’t just talking about platforms, algorithms, or engagement rates. We were talking about power shifts. Because social media is no longer just another marketing channel. It is the connection point between a brand and its audience. It’s where reputations are built, narratives are controlled, and communities are formed. It’s where demand is created BEFORE a single product is sold. For decades, marketing operated like a pipeline: push out a message, drive a conversion, measure the ROI. But now? Every company is in the business of media. Whether you’re selling software, sneakers, or smoothies, every company has to focus it's effort on media because it's the only way to be relevant in an attention-scarce world. In other words, the 'funnel' has changed. We're no longer obsessed with conversion, we're focussed on capturing attention. And if you're able to retain attention, you shouldn't have to worry about conversion. And the people who understand this better than anyone? The ones running your social. They’re not the last step in the process - the ones who take assets and push them live or 'make it go viral'. They’re shaping narratives, building communities, and architecting brands. They’re the connective tissue between a company and its audience, the ones who understand where the conversation is moving before the rest of the business catches up. They think in story arcs, engagement loops, and retention strategies. They know how to build trust at scale and turn a brand into a movement. And if attention is the most valuable currency in business today, they’re the ones holding the purse strings. The real question isn’t whether social media managers deserve a seat at the table. It’s a question of how long before they're leading it. Thoughts? - - - 🐝 Manchester, it was a pleasure to bring FLIGHTSTORY to your city to facilitate the conversation. Where should we head next?

Creator Ventures Manager & Entrepreneur | Building & Scaling Product Brands at FlightStory - The Diary Of A CEO 🚀

At age 10, I started my first business selling artwork I bought & upsold to people on my street. At 16 I was running a makeup business. At 20, I launched my first e-commerce brand Laguna Lashes, which won a Global Green Beauty Award and successfully raised grant funding. At 23, I took the leap to leave my start-up & join Steven Bartlett & The Diary Of A CEO to grow their product based businesses. At 24, I launched The Conversation Cards and The 1% Diary with Steven Bartlett & FLIGHTSTORY - where we are building the next generation of Creator Ventures🔥 Fast forward to last week… I spoke at Google about the power of AI and how it is redefining the way businesses are built and scaled 📈🚀 It truly felt like a full circle moment. From starting my first business from my kitchen table, to speaking in front of over 250+ women about how AI will impact the next generation of startups. A huge thank you to Lauren Ingram & Next Big Thing for having me and for creating the space for these important conversations to be had. There’s no doubt about it: AI is transforming the way businesses are built. The companies that lean in, will be the ones that win. Do you agree?👇

The very best social and content teams in the world, the ones everyone shares, talks about and admires, all understand this 👇🏼 Some of the best ideas never make it into the world - not because they weren’t good enough, but because they took too long. Content moves fast. Trends come and go in hours. And if you’re still waiting on assets, resizing, or adapting content for multiple platforms. By the time you’re ready to post, the moment has passed. That’s why speed isn’t just an advantage - it’s a necessity. At FLIGHTSTORY, we’ve built chart-topping shows by making speed our superpower. Our team needs the ability to create and adapt content instantly, without waiting on a designer every time we need a quick edit. That’s why tools like Adobe Express have become part of our DNA. When everyone on the team - regardless of design skills - can quickly resize, edit, and adapt content in minutes, it changes everything. Oh, and it’s completely free. Content teams that can move fast don’t just keep up - they lead the conversation, and get everyone talking too. Be honest, is your team actually built for speed?

I can’t quite believe this is happening. After my conversation with Steven Bartlett on The Diary of a CEO, Georgie Holt & Christiana Brenton from FLIGHTSTORY approached me about creating my own show - and with the incredible support of WHOOP, Science and Soul was born. Human flourishing is something I’ve thought about my entire life. And what I’ve realized is this: we all have an extraordinary capacity within us - our job is to uncover it. This show is my invitation to you. A blueprint to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you know you can be. I hope it challenges, inspires, and equips you to step into your full potential. After months of building, filming and creating, tomorrow, we begin. I can't wait. Welcome, to Science and Soul 💛

Hard Work Beats Talent… But That’s Only Half the Story. I learnt the value of hard work early in my career. In recruitment, the equation is simple: work hard, earn high, live large. But things really went 📈 when I figured out how to work hard, smart, and fast. We’ve all heard the saying: “𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭.” But we often forget the full quote: “Hard work beats talent 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅.” Because hard work alone isn’t enough. ⚡ You can work hard on the wrong things. ⚡ You can push forward without ever adapting. ⚡ You can hustle endlessly… and still go nowhere. The people who really win? They work hard on the right things, with the right mindset, and with relentless consistency. 🚀 They stay curious, constantly learning, evolving, and refining. 🚀 They take action because thinking alone won’t change anything. 🚀 They play the long game, understanding that success isn’t about one big moment, but about showing up every single day. Forever grateful to be surrounded by the most relentless, hard-working and adaptable team everyday. What’s one lesson about hard work that changed the way you approach your career?

HOW DO I GET MY DREAM JOB WITH ZERO EXPERIENCE? 😳 I spoke at Hult International Business School this week, addressing how students can break the barriers to entry in the luxury industry. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I have never gotten a job by simply sending my CV, crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. That won’t work, especially in the creative industry. SO, WHAT CAN YOU DO TODAY? 👇 - Reach out to local businesses - Offer your services (for free, yes, for free!) - Build a portfolio And by the time you’re applying for your dream job, you’ll able to SHOW them what you can do, not just tell them.
