  • if you're in London, come and see us at the Allergy & Free From Show in Olympia!

They say that the customer is King..... but to us they're the King and Queen, especially as more than half our customers are female. We're now in day 2 of the Allergy and Free From Show in London where we've been meeting lots of current customers and lots of potential customers. As a d2c business we focus on listening to our customers, via our customer service team, emails and social media - shout out to Charlie and Sally especially - but sometimes we miss the face-to-face conversations that are so valuable. So this weekend we've been doing a lot of listening, we've met some super loyal customers who've been with us for years as well as new people trying field doctor for the first time. We're also learning what else we could do, different needs and ideas that I think will really help drive the business forward and may well end up with us developing new ranges, meals and services. And finally, shows like the AAFFS couldn't be done without a army behind the scenes to, the team in the Kitchen, Si + Di, making our meals and those helping set up, work on the stand, Martin + Clare, including some amazing ambassadors, Jo, Rosie + Aliz too A few photos attached including one of me in the fetching hi viz!!

I'm really pleased to be able to announce that Mark Swanwick has joined as our chair.  Mark has been a friend of the business for a few years now and it’s great that he has now formally joined to and can help us deliver on our huge potential to feed peoples’ health with our personalised, science-driven meals. We have travelled a long way over the last last 12 months. An increase in sales of more than  50% driven by more engaged customers seeing and feeling the benefits. It’s meant we've been able to make decent improvements in efficiencies, service levels and ultimately the all-important margins. And, with the new b2b channel live, recent approval to supply the NHS, as well as our first Innovate UK backed trials underway, we’ve got a pipeline of innovation coming over ther next year Behind it all is a great team and fundamental belief that food really is one of the greatest medicines that we can ‘prescribe’ based on each person’s own condition and biomarkers thnaks to all ! • An exciting bit of news to shout about... we've recently been awarded to the NHS framework to supply them our meals. It's an amazing achievement and one we are proud of but it's also only just the start as the work begins to get the catering managers and dietitians in the NHS Trusts to put us 'on the menu'! So this week the team headed up to the HCA (Hospital Caterers Association) Forum in Scotland where they've been meeting potential partners. Big thanks to Charlie and Martin for stepping up to run the event when an unplanned and emergency hospital trip put pay to me attending. To everyone who came and met us, we'll be in touch; to anyone that missed it, drop us a line. p.s. apologies for the average, pre-event photo, the team were a bit too busy to get any action shots. #hcaforum #hospitalcatering #nhs #nhsmeals #feedyourhealth
