Workplace food services for business and industry, supporting wellbeing with delicious, balanced, planet-positive food.

About us

Eurest UK provides workplace food services and workplace restaurants to business and industry, supporting people’s wellbeing and productivity through delicious, balanced, planet-positive food. As part of the business and industry arm of Compass Group UK & Ireland, we’re proud to be trusted to nourish millions of people in workforces across the UK, from FTSE 100 companies to small family-run businesses. Our offer couples the benefits associated with being part of Compass Group, the world’s largest workplace caterer, with a commitment to supporting local suppliers and social enterprise. Around 80% of our supply chain is made up of small suppliers, with £5 million committed to social enterprises. Seasonal menus and fresh British produce are key to Eurest’s offering, taking a new approach to workplace catering that supports workers across the UK to live happier, more productive lives. We have a UK-first sourcing policy which means the majority of our produce is British, including fresh vegetables, meat, fish and dairy, with the remainder largely comprising produce which can’t be sourced from the UK. In January 2021 we unveiled a major refresh of our plant-based nutritious range, Plantilicious, rolling out across hundreds of locations in the UK. Catering to the growing numbers of ‘flexitarians’ in the UK, the innovative dishes outperform their meat counterparts on fibre, saturated fat and protein. Incorporating more plant-based and plant-forward meals into our menus is also a simple way to help our clients to meet their sustainability targets. Our culinary creativity and nutrition-led approach supports wellbeing and brings style and hospitality to workplace restaurants, cafés and executive dining rooms.

We put our money where our values are - sourcing products and services from social enterprises that create lasting social and environmental impact. 🌍💼 That’s why we procure from 22 social enterprises, ensuring our supply chain actively supports both business and social value goals. In 2021, Compass Group UK & Ireland spent £1.2m on social enterprise products. By 2022, that had grown to £5m, and we're committed to increasing this even further. Our social enterprise partnerships are about more than procurement - they’re about using our purchasing power to create a real, measurable difference. ✨

At Compass, we are proud to provide opportunities to all. In the UK, it's estimated that around 1 in 7 people (or about 15%) are neurodivergent* and it may be more common for these people to experience barriers to employment than those who are considered neurotypical. Teams across our business have been looking at different ways we can do more to support neurodivergent people not only in their current jobs, but also to enter into the job market too. A great example of this is our B&I business, which has updated its recruitment process and candidate journey, to improve accessibility. How? ✅ Transparency – sharing clear interview templates and publishing questions in advance so candidates can prepare with confidence. ✅ Accessible guidance that is easy to find – created well-structured careers page with sector-specific advice helping our candidates understand the process and expectations. ✅ Offer reasonable adjustments – training our hiring managers to recognise and implement adjustments tailored to individual needs. ✅ Use accessibility tools – dyslexia-friendly job adverts and accessibility settings (like ADHD-friendly and vision-impaired profiles) can make a big difference. ✅ Always support different ways of thinking – structure helps autistic candidates, advance questions benefit dyslexic applicants, and clarity reduces masking for ADHD individuals. It’s Food Waste Action week – and we’re taking action!🌍   At Eurest, we’re on a mission to cut our food waste by 50% by 2030, and we’re already ahead of target. How? By rethinking the way we cook, serve, and use ingredients every single day. Take our Freshly Made Spicy Parsnip Soup—a delicious example of how small changes make a big impact. The recipe might call for “parsnips,” but in our kitchens, we make the most of every ingredient, using trimmings and leftover ingredients wherever possible to minimise waste and maximise flavour. Less waste. More taste. A better future. That’s what our Plenty concept is all about. This Food Waste Action Week, let’s do more with what we have. What’s your favourite way to fight food waste? Let’s share ideas below!  #PlentyByEurest #SustainableEating #FoodWasteReduction

This Neurodiversity Week, we’re celebrating Chrissy Reilly, Resourcing Partner, who has found strength in her Autism and ADHD. Diagnosed at 33, after years of being misdiagnosed with anxiety, she finally understood why she experienced the world differently. ✨ As part of our people team Chrissy juggles tasks, solves problems fast and thrives under pressure. But neurodiversity comes with challenges - things like sensory overload and last-minute changes can be overwhelming. That’s why support matters. Small adjustments make a big difference - like quiet spaces or understanding that someone may need to stand up in a meeting. Chrissy is a hugely valued member of our team - and is always unapologetically herself. 💪 #NeurodiversityWeek #NCW

Culinary Director - B&I at Compass Group UK & Ireland

This month marks a decade at Compass Group… and honestly, I had no idea I’d hit that milestone. If you’d told me 10 years ago I’d find my place in a big corporate company, I would’ve laughed. I was so sceptical about making the move. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. In those 10 years: • Visited some incredible places • Had opportunities I never saw coming • And there’s still plenty more ahead Most of all, I’ve been lucky to work with some amazing people - inspirational leaders, talented teams, and loads of people I’ve learned from (and still do, every day). I found this photo from about a month in… my first time visiting Chertsey, definitely fewer grey hairs! We did a tasting for what I thought was a small exec dinner for 25 people. Turns out, it was for 250. And what had I gone with? My take on a banoffee pie… inside a chocolate sphere… with hot chocolate caramel poured over at the table, melting in front of the guests. Not sure what I was thinking - obviously misheard the number and I was very eager! 🤦♂️😂 But we made it work. Just. Moments like that (and there have been a lot) have taught me a lot - stay calm, adapt, and trust yourself. It’s shaped who I am and how I work today.

DIPNA ANAND brought the heat to JLR with an Indian inspired pop up. 🍛 Our workplace restaurant was filled with the aromas of authentic Indian cooking as Dipna and her team served a menu packed with spices and fresh ingredients.🔥 From chicken tikka and lamb seekh kebabs, to paneer tikka wraps served alongside crispy samosas, onion bhajis, and Dipna’s signature masala fries - every dish was bursting with flavour. Dipna shared some of her kitchen secrets, including the importance of getting garam masala just right. Her family’s special blend – a carefully balanced mix of 15 spices – has been passed down through generations. Pop ups and events like this are great way to test new ideas and gather feedback, helping our chefs shape menus that your people love. 💡 A huge thank you to Dipna and everyone who joined us. 👏
