This month, #SothebysParis is hosting British-Nigerian jewellery designer Shola Branson for his debut exhibition at the esteemed auction house. On display is #Fragments, a captivating new collection inspired by the archaeological remnants of a fictional lost civilisation. Each piece is meticulously crafted from 18K Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold, sourced exclusively from our #SabodalaMassawa mine in Senegal. "I want to partner with suppliers that support independently audited, safe and responsible mining practices. This feels like a step in the right direction” explains Branson. We take great pride in our commitment to responsible mining, ensuring that gold is sourced with integrity—empowering artists, supporting ethical markets, and promoting sustainability. We successfully completed our growth phase, achieved commercial production at two key organic growth projects, and transitioned from a period of capital-intensive expansion to a renewed focus on generating free cash flow. Reflecting on this milestone, CEO Ian Cockerill shared: "We remain a purpose-led business and continued our efforts last year to ensure that every ounce of gold we produced delivered meaningful value to society." A key challenge in developing a robust diversity and inclusion strategy is identifying and addressing the specific barriers that exist within both our business and industry. Last year, we launched #WomenAtEndeavour, a programme tailored specifically to address the unique challenges faced by our female colleagues. Co-designed with input from over 500 female employees, it focuses on enhancing health and well-being - particularly at our sites - and advancing career development. Early results show this initiative is already making a tangible difference. But we are just getting started. In 2025, we will introduce additional initiatives aimed at driving even more impactful change. #AcceleratingAction - the theme for International Women's Day 2025 - is not just a slogan. It is our commitment. #IWD2025 #WomenAtEndeavour #DiversityInclusion

The 2025 FTSE Women Leaders Review report highlights Endeavour Mining's strong progress in improving the representation of women: ☑️ Most progress achieved in the Women in Leadership category within the FTSE 100. ☑️ Ranked 2nd in the Basic Resources sector. Since 2022, women’s participation at Endeavour has increased by 33%. There’s more work to do, but we’re proud of the progress made so far! IWIM #FTSEWomenLeaders #DiversityInclusion
The launch of the 2025 FTSE Women Leaders Review report took place this week. This annual review of the FTSE 350 and the UK’s 50 largest private companies is focused on improving the representation of women on boards and in leadership roles. Since the review began in 2011, a voluntary target is assigned to increase representation of women on boards and in leadership, which has continued to increase as targets are hit. Currently, the target is 40% women’s representation by the end of 2025. As mining is one of the sectors featured, we pay close attention to this report each year. The 9 companies that are part of the FTSE 350 currently include: Glencore, Endeavour Mining, Rio Tinto, Anglo American, Ferrexpo, Grupo Antofagasta Minerals, Hochschild Mining PLC, Hill & Smith PLC and FRESNILLO PLC. The Weir Group PLC is also in the report under Industrial Goods & Services. Results from this year’s report show that the sector rankings for basic resource industries show an average of: - 41.40% of women on boards (compared to 24.8% in 2018) - 28.10% of women in leadership roles (compared to 18.9% in 2018). Since 2011, when basic resources ranked at the bottom for women on boards, it’s encouraging to see the industry now moving into the middle rankings. However, mining still remains second from the bottom for women in leadership roles. Positively, Endeavour ranks #1 for progress in increasing women in leadership positions across FTSE 100 companies, while our corporate partner Rio Tinto ranks #4 for the most progress in increasing women on boards year on year. Our corporate partner Weir Group also shows progress on the leadership percentage. We celebrate each of these companies for contributing toward an inclusive mining industry, and are pleased to see continued progress year on year. However, it is vital that organisations put a focused effort on achieving balanced gender representation in leadership positions.
