Last night was all about Sustainability and Football at our first ever Table Talk event♻️ ⚽ With special guest and moderator Dion Dublin, we hosted executives and media from West Ham United FC, Banbury United Football Club, BBC Sports, The Telegraph, The Sun, Future Sports Marketing, Green Football, Sport Industry Group, Football For Future, Bound to Prosper and talked about how football can become more sustainable. Key outputs: ⚽ Football clubs need to do more when it comes to talking about their sustainability strategy and especially the Premier League clubs that have the power to lead the way 💷 Prioritising sustainability over revenues is never going to be easy in a very commercially driven sport like football but change has to start somewhere 📣 Football clubs should provide a sustainability comms platform for footballers to leverage for their own sustainability actions 👨👨👧👧 Could the regulator create a framework that pushes football clubs to prioritise sustainability? 🍳 Having trusted clean energy partners by their side can help push the sustainability agenda where in-house teams don’t have the authority 👊 Be brave and take the right steps forward Watch this space for more interesting and thought-provoking Table Talk events! #sustainability #sports #football #cleanenergy #solar
