Making a Difference in Cambridge with 'Match My Project'! We’re excited to share how Connected Kerb is driving real social impact through the Match My Project portal! 💙✨ As part of our social value commitment in Cambridge City Council, we joined Match My Project, a platform connecting businesses with local community groups in need of volunteers, materials, services, or funding. We were proud to be part of the working group that supported the platform’s launch and even more so to be one of the first pilot requests! One early request came from Cambridge Online, a charity dedicated to providing digital access for all. They needed laptops to support those without technology access. We stepped in and, after checking our inventory, donated four fully functional laptops providing a vital digital lifeline to their recipients. 💻🙌 We had the honour of handing over the laptops at Cambridge City Council’s launch of Match My Project, where we also spoke about our commitment to social value and how easy it was to make a match on the platform! Our experience with Match My Project has reinforced our belief in the power of collaboration to drive social impact. We look forward to working with them further and encourage more businesses to explore the portal and support community-driven initiatives. Vauxhall’s new ‘Electric Van Adoption Report’, reviews the electrification strategies of small and medium businesses across the UK and looks at what they need to make the move to a fully electric fleet. Almost all fleet operators told Vauxhall they plan to be fully electric before 2035, however over one-fifth say that a lack of practical on-street charging infrastructure is the main barrier to them making the full switch today. As an established fleet partner to some of the UK’s leading businesses, Vauxhall offers a fully electric version of every van in its line-up and have sold more electric vans in the UK than any other manufacturer. This report is the latest stage of the Vauxhall Electric Streets of Britain campaign, which was launched to support drivers and businesses without access to private charging at home or operating bases, to join the UK’s electrification journey. Along with our charge point operator partners, char.gy , Connected Kerb and SureCharge, Vauxhall will share these registrations with local authorities across the country to inform charging strategies nationwide.
