Wow. Wow. Wow. What a night! Last night we attended The Spirits Business Awards where we were awarded Vodka Brand of the Year. It’s been a phenomenal year for Desi Daru and there’s been a lot of hard work behind the scenes so to receive an accolade like this means the absolute world to us. We always wanted to focus on quality, produce something we were proud of and make the best possible product and we couldn’t be more honoured of this achievement. Desi Daru was born from a dream to blend the best of two cultures – as British-born Indians we wanted to bring the tropical taste from our childhood and combine that with the best of English distilling. A massive thanks to the team at The Spirits Business who pulled together an incredible event and big thanks to Ryan Graves who has been a great supporter of the brand. And thank you to everyone who has helped us get the brand to where it is today. We have huge plans for 2025 and can’t wait to share what we have in the works! 🚀

Last week, the Bar Team from Benares was invited by our long-time partners Desi Daru to visit the Wood Brothers Distillery. The team had a field day seeing the brewing process from beginning to end, witnessing critical moments and nuances of the craft. Experiences like these are extremely enriching and add a lot of value to the work we do. We thank Desi Daru for organising this visit and we look forward to continue working with them. 🥃
