  • Wanted to read our latest whitepaper, “𝐅𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬,” but didn't get around to messaging us to ask for a copy? Great news: it's now available to everyone, just click the link below.   Our white paper lays bare the failures that have led us here time and time again: delays, misdiagnosis and bias, leaving women to suffer for years, sometimes with fatal results. Learn more about: ✨ 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐬: because apparently, the male body is still the default in 2025  ✨ 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬: perpetuating harmful stereotypes and taboos  ✨ 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: treating women as a tick-box exercise, not actual humans   👉 If you're as passionate as we are about driving real change in women’s health, please share this with your colleagues and networks. https://lnkd.in/exd5yf43   #CuriousHealth #WomensHealth #HealthEquity #GenderBias #WomesHealthWhitePaper #DigitalHealth #HealthComms

  • We are super excited to announce that Lottie Williams has been promoted to Managing Director. 🥂 🎉 Since founding Curious Health three years ago with Catherine Devaney, Lottie has deployed her expertise as Director of Operations to establish a strong governance framework for the business as well as creating a culture where every team member feels valued and empowered. Lottie ensures the Curious Health operates with a shared commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients while prioritising inclusivity and wellbeing. In her new role, Lottie will be responsible for day-to-day agency leadership, team motivation and development, maintaining our values-based culture and delivery of the business plan for the year.  Of course, the partnership with Catherine continues. Catherine’s role evolves to become our CEO, meaning that she devotes more time to creating and implementing our vision and long-term strategy. For both Lottie and Catherine, the time they spend with our fantastic client partners won’t change. They started Curious Health to do more of what they enjoy, and to find ways of doing it better. They won’t be putting their feet up on the metaphorical executive desk and only showing their faces on client Teams calls every now and again. The changes to Lottie and Catherine’s roles reflect the growth we’ve achieved as a business in the last year, and the expertise and abilities of the rest of the Curious Health team. #CuriousHealth #Promotion #HealthcareCommunications

  • Debates, reports, shocking news exposes – we've had them all. Yet, women’s health in the UK remains in shambles. Last week’s debate in Parliament revealed that if we were to line up the number of women waiting for gynaecological care in the UK, the queue would stretch from London to Exeter. That’s not hyperbole; it’s the grim reality. Women are fed up with being labelled “hormonal” or “emotional,” tired of misdiagnosis and suffering. This isn’t just a healthcare issue; it’s a full-blown crisis of neglect, bias, and systemic failure. Our white paper lays bare the failures that have led us here time and time again: Delayed and misdiagnosis: leaving women to suffer for years, sometimes with fatal results. (👉 DM us to receive our white paper in full)   ✨ Research gaps: because apparently, the male body is still the default in 2025  ✨ Societal norms: perpetuating harmful stereotypes and taboos  ✨ Policy failures: treating women as a tick-box exercise, not actual humans We’re not here to point fingers. We’re here to turn talk (because do women need yet another article telling them how abysmal their care is?) into action.   Health is integral to each of the three pillars recognised in this year’s United Nations Women’s International Women’s Day theme of ‘For ALL Women and Girls.’ Accessible, timely, high-quality care is fundamental to exercising equal rights, accessing equal opportunities, and possessing equal power. We are calling on colleagues across sectors – companies, policymakers, and agencies – to get involved to ignite change, shatter stigmas, and empower women to demand better. Ready to join the revolution? 👉 DM us to receive our white paper in full. Because women’s health can’t wait – and neither should we. #CuriousHealth, #WomensHealth #WhitePaper #IWD2025 #ForAllWomenAndGirls

In this month's Pharmaceutical Market Europe, I've written about health communications and impact. You can read more about why my Communique Awards Co-Chair, Neil Flash and I, think it is vital that we shine a light on the benefits of effectively measuring impact. https://lnkd.in/eRHPDdXF. Demonstrating impact is not just about showing that work was successful. It is also about: - Reinforcing the value of communications as a strategic function - Transparency and accountability - Identifying learnings which progress knowledge - Team motivation and inspiration Thank you to PMGroup Worldwide Ltd for giving us the space to share our thoughts.

Digital Account Director - Curious Health - Blending the best of traditional health comms with highly-targeted digital marketing

In my last post, I shared AI’s biggest opportunity in health communications: inclusivity. Now, let’s talk about the biggest risk: TRUST! With AI-generated content flooding every platform, audiences are struggling to distinguish the real from the artificial. Worse, the issue of AI hallucinations and misinformation poses significant risks, especially in healthcare, where accuracy is critical. According to the Accenture Life Trends survey, 62% of people now prioritise trust when engaging with brands—up from 56% last year. To stand out in 2025, healthcare brands must prioritise authenticity and accuracy. While AI helps us analyse behaviours and trends, it’s the human touch that shapes meaningful, real stories. Impactful healthcare content comes from listening to patient experiences and amplifying their voices, not just relying on AI-generated outputs. The potential of AI isn’t about producing more content—it’s about creating connections that inspire trust while ensuring factual integrity. By blending AI’s power with human oversight and authenticity, we can cut through the noise and deliver healthcare communications that truly make a difference. #AI #HealthCommunications #Authenticity #Trust #2025Predictions
