We’re excited to announce the successful completion of our collaboration with the Adult Polyglucosan Body Disease (APBD) Research Foundation, initiated through our pro bono call for rare disease organisations. Together, we’ve developed tools and united stakeholders to empower the community affected by early- and late-onset glycogen storage disease type IV (GSD IV), known as Andersen and adult polyglucosan body disease (APBD), respectively. Through this free-of-charge partnership, we facilitated two multi-stakeholder workshops, enhancing communication tactics to unite the GSD IV community and improve research and treatment opportunities. A big thank you to Natacha T. Pires, Rebecca Reef, Jeff Levenson, Anesa Kajtazovic, Jim Meier, and all APBD and GSD IV participants for their invaluable support. We look forward to what the Foundation will achieve next! Are you a non-profit organisation or charity? If you have a project that might benefit from our support, please get in touch: https://lnkd.in/emnJbfWE #Probono #Nonprofit #Rarediseases

At the start of this year, NICE consulted on an update to its methods for technology evaluation, detailing proposed approaches for formally incorporating manufacturer-submitted evidence on health inequalities into the decision-making process. It's an important topic and one I'm particularly interested in! I'm pleased to share what is hopefully a helpful summary of NICE's proposed updates, as well some thoughts on these, in the below article: https://lnkd.in/eyuu-4J8

At Costello Medical, we are deeply committed to pro bono work and proudly advocate alongside organisations like Passion Partnership CIC for more companies to participate. Last week, our London office hosted Passion Partnership’s Get Together to celebrate their annual impact report launch. Our own Saoirse Leonard joined a dynamic panel, including Jennie Talman (Passion Partnership), Ed Mayo (Pilotlight), Gaynor Hayburn (Havas Life London), and Lottie Williams (Curious Health), to discuss the compelling business case for companies to offer their services to charities and non-profits at no cost. Pro bono work can be mutually beneficial, creating positive impacts for all involved. Stay tuned for more insights and video highlights from Passion Partnership! #ProBono #NonPofit #BusinessForGood

As we reach the end of #BCorpMonth, we’re looking back at our highlight: the event we hosted in collaboration with Executive Education at Cambridge Judge Business School and Conscious Communications. We were thrilled to have Professor Christopher Marquis deliver an enlightening keynote speech on regenerative business, filled with examples of businesses applying innovative solutions to deliver impressive sustainability benefits. During the panel Sophie Costello, Alison Taylor from Concious Communications and Rebecca Ryder from Cambridge Commodities addressed questions from Professor Chris Marquis and an engaged audience. We’re grateful to Tom Ebbutt from B Lab UK for his insightful closing remarks. The positive discussions continued during the networking drinks, and we’re looking forward to seeing how these will advance the B Corp movement in Cambridgeshire. #Bcorp #ForceForGood #EthicalBusiness

It was a privilege for our China team to participate in the #CMAC 2025 Conference. This year’s theme, “Accelerating Innovation and Collaboration in Clinical Development and Medical Affairs”, brought together thousands of industry professionals. It was a fantastic opportunity for networking, allowing us to build valuable connections and exchange insights with peers. We’re excited to continue the conversations sparked at the conference and apply the insights we gained to advance excellence in healthcare communications. 🌟 Harnessing AI in Value & Access Writing 🌟 Given the ever increasing interest in the promise of AI in HEOR, Nicola Ashman and I have been reflecting on how generative AI can be used to efficiently develop value and access dossiers. We found that although expert oversight remains imperative for creating a scientifically rigorous and compelling value dossier, careful use of generative AI via thoughtful prompt development can boost efficiency in the drafting process. 🔗 Check out the full insights here: https://lnkd.in/ekYtdEaH #pharmaceutical #marketaccess #globalvaluedossier #GVD #valuedossier #artificialintelligence #AI
