Eight years ago I set up a comment platform, Comment Central. Originally, it was intended to serve as a platform for my geeky mates and me to publish libertarian polemics with a readership the same size as its contributor base. A good friend called me to express her doubts that the site would still be active in three months' time. Her scepticism wasn't unreasonable. But, eight years later, the site is alive and kicking and also growing. It's also a far cry from the free-market prayer book it started life as. +100 MPs and Peers from all parties contribute to the site; our monthly readership is growing daily, nudging closer to six figures; and, significantly, my old boss and mentor at the Metro, John Higginson (now Higginson Strategy), has invested in the site and is a joint owner. Together, we're expanding the site and its reach even further. We're now starting to host our first events... On Tuesday, 29 April, we're hosting a panel discussion to discuss 'How can we defuse the care crisis time bomb?' at the Old Queen Street Cafe in Westminster.
