Our final Understanding Co-ops workshop of the current series took place today. We had a fantastic turnout of delegates join us to hear more about how businesses can thrive as co-ops. Another co-op visit yesterday. Our team had the pleasure of visiting Ayr to meet the businesses behind the Newmarket Street Business Group. This group are working to boost the opportunities for this part of Ayr town centre which is steeped in local history and is home to a wide range of independent retail, hospitality and specialist businesses. Thank you to Angela Iver and Vanessa Good for sharing your story so far with us and for shining a light on the support available through our team and Co-operate Scotland. Also huge thank you to Margaret Scott and Connor Pattie of South Ayrshire Council for your excellent contributions around community wealth building.
