Cereal Baker Perkins combines a portfolio of unit machines with the expertise to combine them into systems producing virtually every kind of breakfast cereal. Cereal Master lines for either traditional or extruded cereals may be expanded as the company expands or business needs change. Extrusion Baker Perkins manufactures a comprehensive range of twin-screw extruders specifically for powder coating production. The extruders have been specifically engineered for the requirements of powder coating, with features that maintain consistent quality while keeping running costs low. They are suitable for all types of powder coating formulations, including epoxy, hybrids, polyester, acrylics and fines recycling.

Our National Apprenticeship Week was concluded with a visit and factory tour for our local MP, Andrew Pakes. Apprenticeships play an important role in both our recruitment activities and our contribution to the local area. The week also saw numerous schools and colleges from across the region welcomed through the doors to discover the many opportunities and benefits an apprenticeship can offer. I visited apprentices at two trailblazing Peterborough businesses - CODEM Composites Baker Perkins - to learn more about their successes and what else we can do to boost opportunities. Apprentices are my passion. For Peterborough and the country. The Government is on the mark about improving and reforming support for apprentices both to make it more flexible for businesses and to engage more learners. Both companies - like others such as EML Electrical Contractors Ltd & Shoplight Ltd | B Corp™ - show the best of our engineering heritage in Peterborough combined with a drive for new ways of working. Thanks - as ever - to the brilliant Rachel Nicholls and her team at Peterborough College. We are lucky to have such an innovative college on our doorstep.
