Alba Orbital is pleased to announce OculloSpace has joined their growing number of innovative customers. OculloSpace are showcasing how PocketQubes can utilised the latest technology. The mission 'Elephant Juice' consists of DECIMAL-SAT1, a PocketQube carrying DNA-encoded messages to space, which will launch in Q1 2026 via SpaceX. It's amazing to see how these tiny spacecraft are revolutionizing space access, making satellite deployment more affordable and accessible than ever. Our SUTS team leads had the incredible opportunity to attend the PocketQube Conference from March 25-27, 2025, at the Glasgow University Union! It was a fantastic experience to connect with the community and share insights on the latest advancements in the field. They also had a chance to visit Alba Orbital and were shown their facilities. A special shoutout to our systems engineer, Karl-Mattias Moor , who presented our PocketQube satellite, SUTS! His presentation highlighted the innovative work we are doing in the realm of small satellite technology. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a success! We’re looking forward to implementing what we’ve learned and continuing to push the boundaries of space technology.

Our fast growing space industry is a Scottish success story. And Glasgow is now the biggest centre of small satellite manufacturing outside of California! Delighted to open the PocketQube Conference at the University of Glasgow organised by impressive entrepreneur Tom Walkinshaw of Alba Orbital 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🛰️ Tom’s innovative company is going places (including regularly to space of course) by forging a reputation for producing these small PocketQube satellites and deploying them too!
