Vroom Vroom! 💨 Residents from two of our neurological rehabilitation residential services in Leicestershire, Kingly Croft and Kingly House, had a wonderful time at the Triumph Motorcycle Museum. They enjoyed seeing a variety of modern and classic motorcycles and interacting with the museum's sounds, colours, and overall atmosphere. 🏍

We are thrilled to share the story of Andreous and his successful discharge from our Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in South East London. After months of dedicated treatment and rehabilitation following a near-critical medical event, Andreous's journey to recovery has been remarkable, with significant improvements in his cognition, speech, and balance. We're incredibly proud of the hard work Andreous and the team at Blackheath put into his rehabilitation, and we wish him all the best on his continued journey. We're delighted to announce that Thornton Avenue, our supported living service for adults in Streatham South West London, has achieved reaccreditation as a Headway - the brain injury association approved provider. The individuals we support, their families, commissioners, and other stakeholders face a variety of options when deciding what service is right for their needs. The Headway Approved Provider scheme provides an accredited symbol of excellence to aid decision-making. The patients and residents at Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Centre based in Birmingham, recently experienced a joyful celebration of Eid al-Fitr. The staff prepared a delightful array of traditional Eid dishes that brought the festive spirit to life. It is great to see the staff and patients coming together, sharing the rich traditions of special occasions like Eid.

Our Ivetsey Bank Hospital's support is geared towards helping young people feel safe, happy, and empowered to live their best lives. This means staff working with young people to engage in meaningful activities. One such activity occurred recently when the young people created apple 🍎 and pumpkin seed 🌱 bird feeders during their morning coffee group. In addition, the young people planted seeds as part of a larger environmental project. Activities like this allow young people to rejuvenate outdoor spaces and contribute to the environment, thus increasing their happiness and reducing anxiety. Well done to the young people at Ivetsey Bank for connecting with nature and developing valuable skills!
