Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a team of fourth-year Biosystems Engineering students from Gulu University (GU) at our facility. They got hands-on experience with one of our plastic waste management processes, deepening their understanding of solid waste management—a course they are currently studying this semester. This course is taught by our co-founder, Paige Balcom, as part of her Fulbright research, making this visit an exciting opportunity for practical learning.
