On Monday, I had the chance to participate in the EU-Ukraine Tech Summit, which took place in Google for Startups EU Campus Warsaw 🇪🇺🇺🇦 The summit was dedicated to exploring the evolving landscape of EU tech regulation, the future of AI technology for tech startups, and a great deal of opportunities that the EU presents for Ukrainian tech companies. Yet, the most inspiring for me was the panel dedicated to personal stories and reflections of successful women in tech. It raised crucial questions that we oftentimes forget to think about in our day-to-day – the courage to put yourself out there and start your own venture, the balance between the classic school of management and authenticity, and the need for providing space for other women to step up and take on the responsibility to grow on their journeys. A couple of thoughts that stuck with me: ✅ True #leadership is not about being tough, but about building trust within your team. ✅ Do not hesitate or wait for the perfect opportunity. Do your thing now! ✅ Dream big and stay true to yourself. The panel served as a powerful reminder that empathy and humility are the biggest treasures that we as humanity have at our disposal. And it’s kind of on all of us, regardless of gender, to support each other, and encourage those around us to lead in their own way ✨ Sending thoughts of appreciation to Nataliya Limonova, Anna Mazur, Marta Romaniak, Iryna Lehkobyt, and Yuliia Malich for a deep discussion and raising this important topic. Was very happy to see Mariama Boumanjal Tymon Kokoszka Lesya Tkachenko Oleksandra Kovalchuk Veronika Medianyk Olena Tkachenko Yuriy Nayda Oleksandr Zmikhnovksyi and many more! #EUtechlandscape #UkraineTech #EUfunding #EUeic #WomenInTech #authenticity #leadershipstyle
