
Create a custom walk or hike in Maps on Mac
You can customize a walking path to plan a hike, an exercise route, or a city tour. You can also save the routes—along with any notes you add.
Note: Not all features are available in all countries or regions. See the macOS Feature Availability website.

Go to the Maps app
on your Mac.
Click
in the top-right corner, then click Library.
Click Routes, then click Create Route.
To select a starting point on the map, click any road, path, trail, or other location accessible by walking.
Click other points along your route to create a path.
Optionally, click the reverse, out and back, or close the loop buttons at the top right of the Create a Custom Route dialog.
Click Save, name the path or add notes (optional), then click Done.
Your walk is saved as a route in your library.
To see your saved hikes, click in the top-right corner, click Library, then click Routes.
