🌍 Empowering the next generation in sustainable finance We recently organised the Groupe Crédit Agricole x SMU Sustainable Investment Case Competition with Amundi and Indosuez Wealth Management, the first in Singapore that integrates perspectives across corporate and investment banking, private wealth, and asset management. With nearly 200 registrations from universities across Singapore, the competition attracted an extensive range of ideas and insights on #sustainableinvesting, particularly with the use of the Singapore-Asia Taxonomy. The four finalist teams presented their innovative solutions to a distinguished panel of judges: Roy Chan, our Head of Sustainable Investment Banking for Southeast Asia, India & Australia, Sylvia Chen, Head of ESG at Amundi South Asia, Ivan Yap, CMT, CESGA, Director for Markets, Investment & Structuring at Indosuez Wealth Management, and William Koo, SMU Adjunct Lecturer. Congratulations to the finalist Teams Carbon Cutters, Starstainable, Impact Alpha from across Singapore Management University and National University of Singapore, and notably to Team Green Horizon from SMU, who emerged as champions! 🏆 The event concluded with a dinner reception that provided students the opportunity to network with sustainability professionals across the Groupe Crédit Agricole. As a pioneer and leader in #sustainablefinance, we look forward to more initiatives where we support the development of young talented individuals and empower the next generation, with the drive to shape a more sustainable future ahead.
