Exciting progress for rice sector innovation in Cambodia 🌾 Grow Asia and our Country Chapter in Cambodia Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture (CPSA), are laying the groundwork for a GrowBeyond rice pilot in Cambodia. In a recent strategy meeting, we connected with key partners – AmruRice Cambodia, HUSK, and Global Social Impact Investments – to build a strong partnership by understanding current priorities, where partners fit in the rice sector, and what matters most to them. From mapping out the current landscape to identifying opportunities for scale, this marks an important step toward building a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient rice value chain 🌏. We’re excited to move forward with our partners and turn ideas into impact. Chrissa "Borj" Borja kimna Leav Arturo Garcia Alonso Reksa S. NIL Kimhun Sang Learn more about GrowBeyond: lnkd.in/gsJwvxxh

🌏 Reflecting on an Inspiring Week in Hong Kong 🌟 What a week! I’m wrapping up a busy trip to Hong Kong feeling invigorated and inspired by the rich conversations, innovative ideas, and new commitments to forge uncommon partnerships to unlock #CatalyticCapital for regenerative agriculture in Asia. Huge congratulations to Laura Deal Lacey and the team at the @Milken Institute for organizing another successful #GlobalInvestorsSymposium. It was a priviledge to join this event. Among the many highlights was the Philanthropy Roundtable with Steve Davis from Gates Foundation, who offered fresh perspectives on the complementary roles of Asian philanthropy and catalytic impact capital - not just as a stabilizing force amidst shifting US policies, but in bringing fresh thinking and new opportunities for philanthopies in the region. The theme of #PublicPrivatePhilanthropic Partnerships (#4P) resonated throughout the rest of the week, which included planning sessions with the World Economic Forum and dialogues with Grow Asia’s donors and finance partners. My trip culminated with Poman Lo’s uplifting #OneEarthSummit, which brought together leading investors, innovators, and changemakers for a rousing call for collaborative action on #Climate and #Nature. #Resilience was high on agendas, with notable presentations from Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, Tom Hall from UBS Optimus Foundation, and Rudolf Hilti, who all brought focus to the urgency of driving transformation at a systems level - pointing to the untapped investment opportunities in climate and nature in #ASEAN, especially for family capital and Hong Kong-based impact investors. My week was punctuated by inspiring conversations over great food with purpose-driven leaders and friends, including En Lee, María Ángeles León López Sui Ling Cheah, Laura Entwistle, and Derek Baraldi. Once again, I was reminded of the power of challenging silos, filtering out ‘noise’, and forging unconventional partnerships to drive catalytic impact. This week reinforced my belief that now more than ever, radical collaboration is the key to tackling the world’s most pressing challenges. Together, we can fuel transformative change. Here’s to turning ideas into measurable action! 💡🌿 #ImpactInvesting #Philanthropy #ClimateAction #Sustainability #Partnerships #Collaboration #CatalyticImpact
