I grabbed a CHAGEE at the all new NTUC SG60 Care- fé last week! With the first stop at Singapore Management University, I had the chance to speak to SMU students to find out about their big ideas for the future. I met Zenia who’s an active grassroots volunteer and Ka Yong, who’s been teaching first aid to kids. It’s always amazing to see young people finding their footing. Every big journey starts small, and I’m excited to see where these youngsters will go. And they don’t have to go alone! Whether it’s a first job, a new skill, or a guiding hand, NTUC will be there to support them on their journey. Had a productive Friday morning with our ESU EXCO, finalizing ESU’s work plans for FY25-26! We're thrilled about the exciting plans ahead for our community this year. Looking forward to another year of growth and collaboration!

Held on 11 February 2025 in collaboration with Singapore Institute of Management the 'ESU Management Conversation Series' at Suntec Convention Centre marked ESU’s first management engagement session of the year. A key highlight of the event was the signing of four CTC Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) , Trainocate Singapore , Eversafe Academy , and All Hearts Pte. Ltd. —a significant milestone that reinforces our shared commitment to building a resilient, relevant, and future-ready workforce in the education sector. Beyond the signings, industry experts led insightful discussions on AI, mental resilience, and the evolving workforce, sparking valuable conversations on how we can collectively navigate the changing landscape. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all management partners who attended and contributed to the discussions. A special thank you to our ESU Advisor, Shamsul Kamar and our esteemed speakers Wendy Chua, Emmanuel Lusinchi & Seong Kim Ho for sharing their invaluable insights. ESU remains committed to supporting organisations in their transformation journeys, empowering both companies and workers to achieve greater success.
