📰 ARTC in the news 📰 ARTC was featured in Lianhe Zaobao's article dated 1st April 2025: "11 underground tunnels to gradually upgrade with durable anti-corrosion wall panels". The piece highlights LTA's efforts to replace 11 underground driveways with corrosion-resistant vitreous enamel wall panels, and to improve energy efficiency using the Energy Efficiency Monitoring and Analysis System (E2MAS) developed by ARTC. This system collects real-time data on ventilation fan energy consumption, vehicle traffic and air monitoring systems. Thereafter, integrating them into energy management tools for visualisation and analysis - helping LTA optimise tunnel ventilation in the long run. Read more ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gGMSKh6g

📢 The ARTC Energy Pillar held its first industrial forum last week at the Robert Bosch office! We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Robert Bosch for allowing us to host the forum at their facility. 🧪 The forum provided participants valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the Energy & Chemicals sector, fostering meaningful discussions on industry trends and innovation. The guided tour at the Bosch Rexroth Regional Training Centre was one of the highlights of the event which greatly enriched the participants' overall experience. 🤝 We were also honoured to have McKinsey & Company and DataRobot present on the application of AI in the Energy & Chemicals sector, which sparked engaging discussions. A big thank you to the organisers, speakers, and fellow attendees for making our first forum a platform for real progress. We look forward to continued collaboration and knowledge sharing across the industry. We wrapped up a very eventful 2-day Bi-Annual Technical Meeting held on 10 and 11 March 2025! This March BTM's theme, "Towards Industry 5.0: Human-Centric AI for Sustainable Manufacturing," ignited powerful discussions and innovative ideas. This BTM kicked off with our largest membership signing ceremony yet, welcoming 12 new members into our consortium: Abbott, Becamex IDC Vietnam, Sembcorp Industries Ltd, BNF Group, Coway Engineering & Marketing Pte Ltd, Factorem, Green Tenaga, HOPE Technik, KinetixPro, Kookree, Tictag, and XSQUARE Technologies. A big welcome to all! We were honoured to hear from industry leaders like Edwin Ng from Rolls-Royce, Janel Kang from Zincode Technologies, René Schaffer from voestalpine and Saj Kumar from Microsoft, who shared their inspiring journeys towards building a sustainable aerospace future and the innovative use of AI in inspection and manufacturing. The Members Teambuilding and Networking Dinner on Day 1 got our members into some serious game face on as they engaged in a series of AI-themed games and Lego building challenges. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, especially those who travelled to join us. We hope you found the event fruitful, inspiring, and engaging. We eagerly anticipate our next gathering in October, where we will continue to innovate and grow together!

Another eventful day with Communist Party of Vietnam General Secretary To Lam and his delegation. Honoured to be part of the welcome party led by PM for the official programme this morning, where we had meaningful discussions with leaders from both nations. Part of the programme involves an MOU exchange between A*STAR, Becamex, and Sembcorp to further collaborate on Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIPs). This marks a significant milestone in our partnership, paving the way for next-generation smart and sustainable VSIPs. Pleased that we also endorsed the Joint Report on Offshore Wind Power Trade Cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore, which will facilitate the regulatory approvals needed for bilateral cross-border electricity trade. This is an important step towards realising the ASEAN Power Grid and strengthening energy connectivity. A heartfelt thank you to General Secretary To Lam and his delegation for the valuable exchange of ideas and perspectives. Wishing them a safe journey home tomorrow, and looking forward to closer collaboration with Vietnam. Photo Credit: MDDI
